My weekend just got even better watching our couple. They are so cute, adults but both experiencing such feelings for the first time. The acting is excellent! The kids are awesome! Love their reactions to Hae-Er’s reveal. So much more matured than the mothers! I am starting to like the mother with the very short hair. She’s constantly reminding Su-A’s mother about how mean they were. And she reminded the others about their mistakes. Now, I hope that there’s more focus on the mystery part since that’s the only piece that feels out of place.
I know there is drama coming in episode 18 but at least in ep 17, childish jealous ML was quite entertaining. I also love seeing the FL all sassy and bolder, actually teasing the ML and chiding him. She obviously knows that he likes her and is enjoying the attention. I just don't want the SML to be hurt but given how ardent he is in his pursuit of the FL, I guess it is unavoidable 😟
When FL was telling ML to change the surgeon's name to Dr. Ding, I was like wth are you doing, girl? You can't…
Same here! I was screaming No! And hoping that the ML would not give in to her request. So glad that he stood his ground and gave the FL some tough love! Just like doctors should not be too emotionally invested, I agree that we audience should give the characters some room. After all, flawed characters are more realistic and more easy to relate to. In a way, I can understand the ML's perspective. True, he needs to improve his communication skills but overall, he's pretty decent.
The ML's words were harsh but necessary for the FL lead to realize that she cannot run away from challenges. If she wants to reach her goal of becoming an outstanding doctor, she needs to take that first difficult step. Even her best friend said that she would choke the FL if she chose to back out. From the beginning, the show highlighted how timid the FL was, and it was the ML who pushed her and helped her overcome her fears. That helped her on her path to becoming a doctor. In this latest episode, he did it again as her mentor, and I appreciate that he did not soften his stance when it came to the surgery.
Haha, I can see many "Meet Yourself" viewers in the comment section of this drama. I miss those times. Truly,…
So true! There are gems like Meet Yourself but other shows can be equally as entertaining. Not every ML has to be perfect; flawed ones add a different flavor. Like you, I am enjoying this show and look forward to watching the episodes!
I like the SML, but he is kind of pushy. After one meeting, he's already spending so much time with the FL's family and behaving like her boyfriend. Still, he is also open about his feelings and willing to accommodate and give the FL space. Despite it all, I still root for the ML. It's more common to see an egoistic ML with bad communication skills than it is to find an amazing wonderful ML like the one from Meet Yourself that most of us adore :D I love how honest the FL is! She is not a doormat for acknowledging her feelings. She knows where she stands, and she is rational and mature about it. She admires him as a doctor and wants to learn from him. Being his student does not put her in a demeaning position. I am so NOT into the second couple....Dr. Ding annoys me, but Dr. Cheng is charming.
