If the He Yin character played by the actress is like her characters in previous dramas, then she is going to be annoying. I hope not! I don’t want Jun’er to end up with an irritating character. He Yin sounds irritating already with her obsession with him, enabled by her dad.
So far it's been entertaining. You can tell it's not high budget since the costumes and settings are pretty plain but the action shots are well done. The acting can be exaggerated at times but nothing too bad. The leads are great together and I am enjoying the mystery/crime solving aspect. The humor is pretty on-point. I am not sure if you have seen the leads in other shows but the ML is an idol actor that has been improving over time and the FL is a pretty seasoned actress that so far has been getting praises. Her character is interesting - silly but intelligent and witty.
LOL - I love the Godfather-Daughter duo. Their expressions when seeing the most handsome man in the studio 😂😂😂 Such a perfect pair. I cannot decide if I like watching them or the main leads together more!

So true - despite me finding it cringey sometimes, her silliness does highlight her wit quite a bit and it’s great that they made her intelligent as well. I love it when multiple people begrudgingly admitted that she was smart!
Entertaining drama! Watched up to ep 10 and liking the leads. LYT is versatile and lovely. After seeing her play a more serene regal character in LBFAD, she surprised me with her adorable facial expressions here. It’s no surprise that the ML was falling for her…who could resist the way she gazed up at him and snuggled to be recharged 😁 That said, I wish she was less silly; her behavior was a little cringey at times. I’ve been following BWJ since Sweet Teeth and he’s been steadily improving. I noticed that he acted better with FLs that were more expressive and talented. He was stiff in TSOTM but for me, that’s because the FL had no presence. He couldn’t draw out the necessary chemistry. When paired with LYT here, or Zhang Xue Ying in Double Love, his expressions became better. He Rui Xian as Chilan is awesomely cool. She totally pulls off the bad-ass skilled warrior look!
Why did the show have to bring in another character? The gossiping toxic mothers are more than enough! Let’s hope that this character is just a small filler just to testers us audience out. With just two more episodes I want the show to finish strong with what it has already going on!

Urgh, I am just going to power through the last few episodes just so I can rate it. Despite the ending and tropes, it will still be a decent rating due to the amazing chemistry between the leads, the great visuals and lovely OST.
