Seems like going to be a difficult task to resolve, the relationship and discrimination between the Qi-Qian. Wonder…
Firstly, the kings gotta learn to get along and get the treaty in place. There willl always be discrimination but once there are laws in place, it will help. I’m more worried about how they will resolve the differences in life spans. i hope that the FL is the missing ember fire or something that is meaningful to the Qi people. That way they can be together properly and be accepted openly.
There seems to be heart breaking moments and misunderstanding. I saw somewhere the Lao Hu will died😱
Yeah, I saw the iQIYI previews thst Lao Hu will die. So sad that one of my favorite pairing will end :( I was hoping that it was pretend but Jiuer's reaction did not indicate that. Plus HanZheng seemed to be in prison ...Also, seems like Han Zheng is going to give up his vitality stone powder for Jiuer...I hope not!!!
Sure, this show is not a perfect 10 but it is still one of the best shows out there in 2023. Still a high rating from me for the way the characters were consistently written and acted out, the wonderful romances that were not even the focal point of the show, the well-delivered social message and the ending. Oh, an extra point for Choi Chi Yeol's most amazing brilliant smiles in the last episode.
My theory - Crown Prince will at first be bad, he's the one who instigated the prejudice against the Qi people…
Yeah he will help Chilan investigate the black market for the Qi vital stone but his overall plan is still to help his father to sabotage the treaty. Poor guy is stuck in the middle 😅
Yeah if I can change a thing about the drama, I will remove the murder plot. The writer can replace it by other…
Yeah it doesn't fit with the show's main message although one could argue that it is an extreme consequence that could happen due to parental pressure. Still the show could have done well without it.
My theory - Crown Prince will at first be bad, he's the one who instigated the prejudice against the Qi people to sabotage the treaty. However, he will have a change of heart because of Chilan. Their relationship will be angsty but with a HE...LOL I hope
* Not sure if I like the way the murder mystery was resolved but I do appreciate the poetic justice of how the whole family of the murderer ended. * When Sun Jae finally was able to gift the hair-tie, it reminded me of the historical sageuks that when the ML would put the hairpin on the FL, it means he claims her as his...and Hae-Yi didn't disappoint as usual...as much as I don't like love triangles, this one is really cute because the show didn't spoil the friendship. * Gotta admire Su-A's mother - she was fierce towards the end, that's how you should deal with cheaters, * Why did they have to introduce that horrible money-grubbing character? So unnecessary among all the subplots? Where is Mr. Ji when you need someone killed??? * Hae-Yi is definitely the MVP of the show for her amazing character, strength and dignity! Her choice about her birth mother may seem disloyal but totally understandable. She is incredibly matured for her age, always thinking about others and how she's been a burden all this time to the FL. Plus I think she wants to protect her family from that leech of a mom. However, I bet you the mother is not going for that. * All in all, the show's best point is the portrayal of the main couple's relationship - it's been refreshingly consistent, matured and persistent. The show's social messaging about parental pressures and obsessions is also very much on-point.
I think she’s more in denial, thinking that it is impossible HZ will like her and even more impossible for a…
Yes, plus she also revealed that because of her illness, she does not believe that it is not in her destiny to fall in love or be loved by someone else. I like that it is more balanced now and Han Zheng recognizes her intelligence and not always trying to put her down.
I also see the treaty being signed and a wedding 🥰
Thank you for sharing!
