Actually you didnt miss it. I went back and watched the dialogue between Lv Jian and Meiren and it's only in episode 24 that she asked him not to tell anyone that she is working at the university as a school assistant/sub. So I guess Lv Jian knew she is working there but not as a full professor. Sorry for the confusion!
Yes, I think so. He met her when she visited the campus and she told him then. I have to go back to that dialogue again since i don’t remember exactly what was said. She did remind him not to tell anyone during the episode when they went to lunch ant the cafeteria and ZY saw them.
31 episodes in and for me this show would have been better if it was all mystery and adventures. That’s the part I’m interested in. The romance is superfluous especially when I don’t feel the chemistry between the leads. They are good as partners but not as lovers.

That’s true - ZY did know what was going on and he said all the right things to MR and her parents. I just couldn’t help but cringed at how rude MR was. My parents would kill me if I didn’t take off my shoes in the house or use mismatched chopsticks LOL
