Episodes 12 and 13 feel like filler episodes to drag things out - things are not resolved and people running around acting foolishly. Just noticed that it is up to 17 episodes now. So maybe we won’t get a rush ending!

Yeah I was wondering about Li Qing’s voice - I was put off by it in the first couple of episodes because it makes her character sound somewhat shrewish…You’re right - the actors need more training and practice. Hopefully most will make an effort so we the audience won’t suffer too long :D

I am not sure what it is - Allen’s visuals are not usually my cup of tea but somehow in Blue Whisper and now this show, I just enjoy watching him so much！

I don’t mind the actors’ real voices - I think Allen actually doesn’t sound too bad. It’s more the volume and editing… they could have been done more professionally.
Won’t the regulation mean less work for the voice dubbers?

I’m guessing that this is not a high budget show. The quality of the dubbing, lighting and fx does not feel like it is a 2022 production.
6 episodes are not enough to judge the story and acting so I’ll keep watching.

Started watching this again after watching The Curse of Saree and wanted more of Sean :D.
Unfortunately I am still not a fan of the FL who hopefully improved in her acting in her recent dramas.
After seeing the chemistry between Sean and Baifern, the pairing of the leads here fell flat for me.
Regardless, I’m going to finish this show just for Sean, the SML and the storyline.

Ah ok - I was particularly annoyed that the ahjumma constantly put Ja Young down for not having parents and even expected gratitude for her showing pity...Bleh! I am not quite sure how I would react if someone acted like that in real life 😡

Lovely episode (6) today - simple, pure and tugs at one's heartstrings...Nice slice of life drama
If only we didn't have annoying love triangles that don't really add anything to the story

In the previous episode, the mean bitchy ahjumma from the other village asked Ja Young why her mother has not visited, but then in episode 6, she called Ja Young an orphan. Which is true?

Now that I finally got to watch ep 12, I know what you mean :D It's never been this blatant so yeah it's pretty obvious!

Ep 12 was a little draggy but still good. Wish they would think to involve the law but then again, very few lakorns have smart police so I am not surprised that they didn't want to report anything :D

That’s true - you highlighted the great points that the FL has. She definitely has a backstory with her mom so I hope that they explore it further.
I only found it annoying when she picked on the ML and did not seem to understand his need for boundaries. Then again she was not only one :D

So far, so good and I like the ML - he's not portrayed as a silly buffoon completely out of his element.I appreciate that the show did not make him the butt of low-brow jokes. He has challenges but realistic ones. I didn't like the FL at first for acting like a spoilt brat. I know she has a reason but even that reason was too juvenile for her behavior. She did get better in episode 4
The SML has not made an impression yet...

I cannot wait to watch this week’s episodes - it’s so nice that you can watch them raw…envious :)
