I was enjoying the episodes of WXS and BCF as they tried to survive in the capital and she was not allowed to go near them 😂 She is truly the fourth wheel for now but I can ignore her. At this point, I feel that WXS only pays attention to her because of what his master said about using the sword and how he would get entangled with the person that he used the sword for.

Gotta say that the cinematography is very good in this show. Good use of space, lighting, reflection and water!

The Sincere and Honest Gray Hero is Yang Wu Xie. He gave the old man a thumb up after he heard the old man sing that line 😄 That’s in episode 9

Yeah agreed - so far we know Su Meng Zhen and Yang Wu Xie are on the heroes’ list as the Red and Gray. I think the Mulling Dragon is the masked man with the purple covered sword that fought with WXS on the bridge in episode 3. Still waiting to find out about the fourth one. Like you said Bloody YinKan is also mentioned and someone said the 13th Doom was also mentioned in the recent episode.

I rewatched episode 3 and Yang Wu Xie said that in the Jianghu, people call him Sincere And Honest, he wears gray and he does wield a sword so maybe he’s on that heroes list

I find that I cannot multitask while watching this show. I need to focus on the dialogue otherwise I would miss important hints or details 😅

Ah ok, I have not reached ep. 12 yet. I’m watching 11, 12 and 13 tomorrow. That way I get to submerge myself in the Wuxia world longer 😁

So true…I admit I like certain tropes too but a weak FL with a terrible character is just so out of date! For period dramas, we can have worthy FLs who don’t know how to fight but are smart, calm and strategic. Like Peng Xiao Ran’s character in Jun Jiu Ling. She cannot fight but is mentally strong and resourceful.

I have a feeling it is Bai Chou Fei's organization after he turns evil and plots to take down Su Meng Zhen.
Argh, why do I torture myself knowing that I will be suffering watching this show but I still watch it anyway!

Just reflecting about the characters in the song sung by the old man in the beginning of episode 1:
- Red Sleeve Blade -> Definitely Su Meng Zhen
- Fast Slow Pith, half the world he conquers -> I think it's Bai Chou Fei based on the spoilers stating that he would rule the House of Sunset Drizzle eventually
- The Mulling Dragon - creating ripples hither and thither -> I think it is the masked man with the covered sword that Wang Xiao Shi fought on the bridge at the Six Half House
- Dressed in gray, the Sincere and Honest -> That's Wang Xiao Shi

If I were a screenwriter, I would be reading reviews and the comments sections for research on what viewers like to see. I know casting is a different story where idols can get lead roles despite their abilities.
