I disagree with the chemistry part, and overall, I like the director. He's done some great work including TBW but I have to admit I am annoyed with some of his choices when it comes to the script. I am usually able to keep my assessment of the novel separate from the drama but in TBW, I cannot help but compare. That's my personal problem and should not detract from the amazing work put into TBW.

If her dreams become actual memories, then yes she will become the same person, more or less...I feel that the plot seems to be leading to that outcome, and YunHe and ChangYi will truly be reunited.

True but it seems that she still retains the skills and intelligence of her spirit master version, and she will be just as powerful as before with her nine-tailed fox powers

I got goosebumps...the music, the expressions, the mist...Love it!
But now, Chang Yi is the one sacrificing so that Aji/YunHe can start over with a happier life...😭

Yeah, I am sure he will wreck havoc but to have him as the vessel, meaning involved in the final showdown is just too annoying. It's beneath YunHe and ChangYi to have to face off with that character LOL

I’m watching Legally Romance and he has a small part in to. Completely different character and look! I think he’s a great actor!

It’s a happy ending even after she drops into the lava...at least in the novel

He does admire AJiao because of her upright character and she reminds him of his last love but that’s it. He does not like her in any other way. His wife is jealous that she cannot get any attention from him at all. Even if there is nothing between Prince Ning and AJiao, she will still be jealous that the Prince thinks highly of AJiao. She is a rather scheming lady and she doesn’t seem to realize that is the reason why Prince Ning does not trust her and want no relationship with her…

Have you watched ‘A Girl Like Me’? Strong cool amazing FL. The ML is not as submissive as Xu Qing Qia but he is refined and very well educated. I really liked that couple too!

This show is underrated! The character development of the main characters is well done, and the comedy is on point. There’s some angst to make the story more interesting but luckily there’s not too much of it.

Same here. I like it but it is more of a special occasion piece. Next time! 😁
