Plus the meaning behind Sejin's words to Mirae ❤️ I don't know if the next episode will show some twist to what he said but for now, it's a sweet moment.

Thank you too! You’re right - that was a final twist that suddenly got mentioned. It’s a shame that the show didn’t highlight his ascension more. It would have elevated the ending!

That could be one intepretation but it is a rather weak one for me. All the time, the show portrayed Gang Cheol doing everything to protect YeoRi including the last episode where he was running towards her, saying that she better be safe or he will never forgive her.

When did he even talk about saving anyone else from eternal damnation? It certainly does not fit his character which was never protrayed to want to save the Celestial General and the other souls. If he wanted to do that, he could have done it much earlier and the story would not have dragged on for another few episodes, that it didn't need to.

Ep 4 was another good one - I like the ML’s compassion and the show not trying to insert trite dialogue. Sometimes it’s more impactful to have silence as the characters vent or cry it all out.

I wish the show would do something different instead of the usual “I am going to sacrifice myself to save the other”. Why can’t they pair up and take on the Celestial General from the beginning? It’s obvious that they are stronger together. It makes the FL looks so stupidly reckless. Knowing that she was not as good as her grandmother and that she’s failed before.

Such plot convenience! Just like that, Gang Cheol was revived. After all that lead up to him disappearing after using his pearl - what was that… just some BS to mislead us thinking that we are dumb enough to forget just because we got a happy ending.

Instead of the leads’ romance, I much rather the romance between the King and Queen continued. Also, the love of Yoon Gap’s mother and her eventual care for Gang Cheol was more impactful for me.

Started off strong, slow middle, and weak ending. The writers thought that as long as they wrap the show up in a super contrived neat little romantic bow, then all is forgiven.

Well, not quite but it was still a ok story with engaging supernatural elements. Bona still cannot act well - she needs some training with making her eyes expressive and face less frozen. Yook Sun Jae and Kim Ji Hoon carried the show.

Yeah, even Miji thought that she was two-faced in school. I really hope that Hosu realized that it is Miji all along by himself but the preview seems to imply that YiJun will reveal it instead

Miji’s journey was so heartbreaking, and to think it was all because of a misunderstanding.
I really don’t want to see Hosu fall for Miji all over again but thinking that she’s Mirae. That’s not the romance I would enjoy.
Murae’s current journey is also heartwrenching. To be so affected by other opinions because of everything that’s happened at work. I hope she can find the healing she needs to get past the hurt but at this point, what is the best way for her to do that?

I really can’t stand that Ji Yun. She just seems like she would be ready to backstab the sisters anytime. She’s also panting too hard after Ho Su.

Yes but like the contract, if he were as careful with the edict, he’s less likely to be manipulated. That said, he probably did not expect his colleagues to trick and send him to his death.
