I’m not 100% certain, but IU is currently not signed on to another project. She may have declined earlier because of scheduling conflicts but if her schedule is free now, I wonder if there’s still opportunity to cast her. I would love to see Kim Soo Hyun paired up with IU again.

That’s true. Kim Soo Hyun was so good in this role and was nominated for best actor at the Baeksang Awards. In fact Moon Kang Tae was only his 5th lead role but his 3rd Baeksang best actor nomination. Pretty impressive for someone with such a short filmography.

Honestly I don’t think the box office would be that much better without the competition. It premiered one week before Hansan and ticket sales were not great in the first week.

Catch Me If You Can is one of my favourite movies and I don't doubt there are intelligent con artists out there. Anna is not one of them and I don't buy how she can fool so many people with her background. Even her boyfriend's mother was able to easily find out she was a fake in episode 1.
