Title Anna
Yumi actually is intelligent and talented but because her focus was reading art and got distracted with universityfriends…
Can communicate does not equal fluent. What she learned as a small child would have been forgotten by the time she's an adult. If she was really fluent, she wouldn't have to take those odd jobs. In Asian society, fluency in English is highly prized in the workplace and she would've been able to find higher paying jobs than frying burgers or washing dishes.

Title Anna

Didn't she meet those university friends after failing to get into university? Most normal students have friends so getting distracted by friends is a poor excuse and they were not a bad crowd either. They should've wrote that she couldn't study in university because of financial reasons or she had to give up university to support her family.

Learning English and etiquette for a few months when you're 6 years old is not going to stick into adulthood, and certainly not to the point of people believing she's fluent.

Title Anna
I watched the badly subtitled version so maybe missed some details, but I don't think Yoo Mi is supposed to be particularly intelligent, she didn't get into university because her grades were not good enough. When she took on the identity of Anna, how can she just read some books and teach at a university. She pretends to have lived and studied in America, all it takes is someone to speak English to her and she would be immediately exposed. She also wears cheap knockoffs of designer brands, it's kinda ridiculous to think that no one would notice the quality of the clothes she wears for someone who's supposedly from a rich family.

The wound was quite deep and the spray highlighted even traces of blood so it’s not too dramatic. My only quibble is he has blood on both sides of his face and body when the cut is on her right hand, the blood should be mostly on his left side and not all over.

He accidentally stabbed her hand when they played the knife game and her hand got all bloody. Did you skip the part what they did after afterwards 😉.

That was indeed very sudden. But I think the focus of the show wasn't necessarily finding out who did it, but…
Funny how you were kicking up a fuss over at the Silent Sea page because people were pointing out the plot holes and bad cgi of that drama. You even went as far as hijacking someone's review because they didn't give it a perfect 10 and then had to change your username because you are being called out, lmao.

I think so too, i think we could have at least one more episode. Everything happened very fastly.
Let’s agree to disagree on this but I’m curious what viewers who think the ending was rushed would like to see instead? Remember that Hyun Soo is already in jail doing his wood work or what not. The investigation on the other guy would not involve him at all other than the lawyer may update him on the case or he sees the news on tv. How would you like the ending more fleshed out?

It's not out of nowhere though. Lawyer Shin was looking for clues and suspects since he took on the case. Hyun Soo was already sentenced to life imprisonment and the real culprit's interview, arrest, trial and conviction would not involve him. It was not necessary to use screen time on the other guy's story. We only need to know the outcome for Hyun Soo so I think it was appropriate how the ending was handled.

I think 8 episodes is enough, anymore and it will feel like it was dragged it out for no reason. The focus of the drama is not about finding the truth or who dunnit , this message was driven in the first episode when lawyer Shin met Hyun Soo in the holding cell. How the girl got killed is not important in what the story wants to tell.

Title One Ordinary Day Spoiler
I'm just pissed they spent months refusing to acknowledge any other possible suspect with much more motive, and…
Through forensic evidence, the time the girl died and the time the killer was in the house matches. In the photos, it shows he was at the broken side door. It just wasn't shown how much evidence they later gathered to charge and get him to confess as that was not the focus of the drama.

Title One Ordinary Day Spoiler
I am left with so many questions of the ending. Like what did do jitae ultimately say to hyunsoo as he died, what…
But isn't that just life? Not everything is going to be resolved neatly and there will be retribution for the corrupt or incompetent authorities. Life goes on for everyone and the lawyer moves on to his next case. That is the point of the drama, to show how powerless ordinary citizens can be in the justice system if they want pin you to fit their narrative.

The episode title was transformation & I liked the gradual transformation they have show of naive Kim Hyun soo…
As others have commented, Kim Soo Hyun is in no way or form underrated as an actor. He is well known for acting abilities by the public and critics since his debut. Perhaps you are referring to his popularity being underrated since he is no longer the trending actor. He reached the peak of his popularity after MLFAS and that popularity comes with sacrifices. To maintain that popularity he was constantly promoting, doing fan meetings, fan signs, filming commercials, keeping up a certain image, etc. Things that prevented him from doing this real job, which is acting. If you noticed his project choices after MLFAS, he is clearly steering away from that Hallyu star image and focusing on being an actor. Some fans might want him to be more trendy, but he's been there, done that years ago. There is nothing sad about him wanting to be known as a great actor rather than just a popular actor.

Some of his dramas may not be my favorite but i enjoy his acting whenever he immerses and shows precise emotions.
Which is all of them :p . He's very, very good in OOD, but I also like his portrayal of subtle emotions like in It's Okay to Not Be Okay.

Its a BBC adaptation ,so its not in netflix 😢
It has nothing to do with being a BBC adaptation. This is Coupang Play's first original series and they have exclusive broadcasting rights. Just like how Netflix originals are not shown on other streaming platforms. They are direct competitors in the OTT market.

The Main Character cries every time he is asked a question .. that's not Normal 🙄. It's pathetic.
Good for you if you are strong minded, but that doesn't give you the right to label those who aren't to be pathetic, cowards, or b*tches. Now I understand why the first poster said you are probably a bully in real life because you have no empathy for people who are not deemed as strong as you.

Coupang is the investor, possibly with content control rights. ViuTV is just one of the steaming services that bought licensing rights to stream in certain regions.

Everyone reacts differently in different situations, just because he cries doesn't make him pathetic and I'm sorry you feel that way about people who cry in distressed situations. He is being charged for murder here. Before that, he was just a college student living at home and his parents doted on him. The hardest day in his life before that night was probably studying for exams so his reactions and breakdowns are not abnormal.
