That is kind of what i've assumed, as I've never met an Indian that didn't use some sort of sub-culture category like Punjab, Sikh or otherwise.

Plus like I told the other poster, a lot of countries in the world actually uses the word Indian to refer to aboriginals. And I'm not sure they are planning on changing that definition.

Not necessarily, Sensei/student is not necessarily a hierarchy, but rather a concept that can actually supersede certain existing hierarchy. Like a rich Chaebol hiring a math Sensei. In real life, the Chaebol's wealth status places him in a higher hierarchy than the poor math Sensei, but in the aspect of math, the Sensei has temporary power of knowledge that only last until the student surpasses the Sensei.

As i've said, there is no truer wisdom than self-discovery, so even in anarchy and chaos, one can always create and define new wisdom.

I am a bit on the fence regarding a self regulating world, MDL has proven that human beings are not ready for it yet.

If us regular humans were to attempt such a feat, would we experience the same success? It's certainly an interesting question to consider, is it possible for a talent to create a legacy, then have ghost enter into her craft, and people be none the wiser? I would love to subscribe to this experiment on human behavior.

The times of yore has gone and past, or has it? Is it better hidden betwixt chapters of love and comedy? But watching Kdrama provides a different type of escape route, rarely found in our home world's hyper sensationalized entertainment.

Kdrama's aim isn't to reflect a parallel world that look familiar, but rather to create a platform that has no intended message, politically or ideologically. And for us to imprint what we may see or not see is up to our interpretation. It is not 1st degree, nay, not even 3rd degree.

Sensei is a misnomer. Because we are all in effect a Sensei, we all have knowledge more than someone in this world, so we are essence all teachers to someone, somewhere.

Unfortunate thing about bias is that it is unconscious, we paint with it, without knowing, and even when knowing, we still paint with it. Rather than being free of bias, we should instead be accepting of the bias of others.

Facts have a place in this world, regardless if it's encased in bias, it is what allows us to anchor our bodies, so that our mind can flow freely spiritually and supernaturally. Without our biased facts, we are no more human than animals.

Where a lot of people seek wisdom gleaned from others, it is actually self-discovery which provides the purest wisdom of all. Will it be painted with bias? yes it will, but it will be bias formed from your self fulfilling consciousness.

Can there be such a thing as a "Happy" ending in one that has left viewers nonplussed? An ending to satisfy our inner cravings doth exist? Why do we continue to seek ones which they do not want to be found?

The old crone, croaked! they say, she croaked! yet her reward, is more cough drops? A man none has seen, will cameo into our world, with a magical flute, not his own. Will their love be eternal, those are questions indeed.

I would argue that the end has just started, but does the end want to be started, that begs the question. The interest has atrophied as the bows of fate has been tied. The wanton of the few, will not make a meal, one that they may not want to prepare. Hereditary genetics should not be intervened, as God controls fate, and fate should not be exasperated.

Biting, KES should not do it, as people do not want to get chewed on, so her pen as mighty as the four tiger sword, will end up a sweeping blow, that blows out all the candles.

Because we humans cannot be our lord and savior, and to believe so is treasonous.

Man was made in God's image, not the other way around, we cannot claim Jesus is one of us. For a time, he shared several of human's characteristic, but was absent in sin. So, in essence when one says Jesus is one of us, it is simple implying Jesus mortal form was created in his Father's image.

If comparing the Lord, our God is sacrilegious it just follows that of the son would be the same would it not?

I admittedly am a lax catholic, so I would not be a very good follower, much less a disciple. As i've said before, we should strive not to demand, but to adapt. Who I am, depends on who I converse with. To you, I am just another poster on MDL.

No, i'm not a strong user of phallic symbols.

Comparing Jesus to people is sacrilegious, we should not do this. I am human, thus I err. Let us respects people' faith, as they respect us who they do not know.

I am who I am, nothing more, nothing less.

A veritable impossibility at times. A concave mirror we refuse to see, can hurt our sensibilities the most, regardless of the line of sight. So we opt instead to present a convex piece of glass, in hopes that its light never bounces back to us. But what a fools errand, as many sides a diamond has, the light will eventually come back to us, and along the way create many small infernos.

But isn't it great? it's a juxtaposition of human behavior at it's finest. From the pinnacle to the dredges, we see it all.

Don't we all wish, we can paint our image of the world on a blank piece of paper, but unfortunately babies cannot watch TV, so alas, by the time these ideas, these creations, these situations arrive to our peripherals, our water becomes as murky as a thousand colorized paintbrushes slowly ebbing into our consciousness. And thus we have many a colors tinted glasses, that changes with our mood.

Learning to face our own hypocrisy may be the single most difficult thing human beings can do. And even in doing so, we must take care not to swap over to the other side, as we need to retain our vulnerabilities, and flaws, lest we forget what makes us human.

My apologies,a momentary lapse of typo, I meant to say Hindu, the religion.

People do refer themselves by their religion. Catholics, Christians, Muslim, Hindu, Sikhs and etc... It is up to people what they want to be classified as, not for us to decide.

When a group of Indians, migrate to a certain part of the world, and a majority of the Indians from that group is in that particular part of the world, they create a blanket term for that group. If that group is predominantly from Punjab, people will call them Punjabi, because people don't know better. Not everyone took a masterclass of Indian Heritage and History, thus in colloquial terms they will call people from that group, whatever the people in that group also call themselves. So people from that group will explain, "well I'm from Punjab, so you can call me Punjabi", and thus the cycle continues.

I see where the miscommunication arose, and I apologize as I spoke from a domestic/local stance, rather than a global/international one. I understand people from India are called either Indians, or even South Asians, I don't believe India falls under south east asians (maybe a part of it does), although it's geography would argue it. I refer to Indians where I am domestically from as East Indians, and that is the generally accepted term for the locale I am in, google it, if you are very curious.

And as an aside,I believe Indians themselves, at least when they start immigrating, also deem to choose other sub-culture tags for themselves, because in certain counties in the world, there is still quite a bit of ignorance, where aboriginals are still being called Indians, or Native Indians. I understand the confusion of this stems from Columbus' folly in mistakenly finding "India", but it is still being used in certain media, by certain people and by even by the government. Notice the link below.

https://www.bia.gov/bia

So i'm not surprised, people from India wanting to have a different tag for themselves by wanting to be called either Sikhs, Hindu, East Indian, South Indians, Punjabi and etc...

Why did the British choose the term East India? is there some derogatory meaning with the word East I am not privy to? I am not arguing the use of Indians vs East Indians, you've enlightened me definitely, but it is just a matter of curiosity.

There is no get rich quick schemes, contrary to what propaganda would say. I am not familiar with it's history, but Indians in my country, self proclaim themselves as either East Indian, Punjab, Hindu, Sikh and etc... In fact, when they refer to themselves, their culture, i've never heard of them to just use the nomenclature of Indian. Nor have I ever been corrected for using the term "East Indian". But if you'd like to raise your fork, I will respect your right to do so. But i'd would like to seek the green mile. Why is the term East Indian derogatory? Since it is also a term for the geographical term of a countries land mass. Also it is sometimes used to avoid confusion with aboriginals.

Indians in my country also proclaim where they are from by using directional adjectives, such as East Indian, South Indians, North Indians and West Indian to denote the village/city they hail from. If you google the term, you will find clues of the country I hail from.

But i'd like to hear your explanation regardless.

Thanks be to the kindest!

When one walks the green mile, they see naught the riches of the world, but the nuggets of the mind!

When we grasp these nuggets, they will be covered in grime, impurities, and imperfections, because that is the law of the world. It is up to us, the inebriated souls to stumble and find the right tool to make the nugget golden. And in our search we will pass by many of the wrong tools, but as long as we don't stray that green mile, we will eventually reach, where we didn't know we wanted to reach.

Let us take a quick dip into the western world.

In TV shows/movies:

How come the Asian child always has to be the smart one? Also how come there is such little inclusion of other Asian culture, this falls into the whole all Asians look alike joke/half meant? always either Korean, East Indian, Chinese or Japanese? There are more Asian cultures than that you know? In fact when it comes to the other roles, there is admonishment when a Scottish is called Irish, or an Englishman is mistaken for an Aussie.

How come the exchange student from Norway, Swiss, and other viking states, always have to be blond, blue eyes and tall? Also, how come they never have a distinction between which viking state?

How come, when there is portrayal of Jamaican/Nigeria, they are always portrayed super dark? There are more than 1 skin tone from those countries.

Why are Samoans, when being portrayed, always the stereotypical, huge, hulking, and morbidly obese ones? That's a very degrading stereotype of Samoans? Oh right, it's funnier that way.

The worst part of this? These degrading stereotypes, and cultural misappropriation is considered part of the norm in western shows, and is rarely used as a laughing mechanism, but rather as a laughably accurate assertion.

Compare that then to asian shows/movies usage of western cast or western stereotypes, it's almost always the acting is so bad, it is funny, or it is straight up meant up to be satire.

If we boycott and raise our forks, and call the manager for Asian shows, we should do the same thing for western shows, nay, all culture's show, because it happens as a commonplace.

Also, contrarian to the belief of the masses, people in Nigeria and Jamaica, don't go walking around with beanies and dreadlocks, this actually belongs to a genre of Reggae, popularized by Bob Marley, and is not the culture of the people themselves. Or do people here actually believe everyone in Jamaica has dreadlocks and wear beanies.
