Yup, that's about right. I think a lot of people have this thinking that Mowan is still inside Mowan, and even after Moxin had taken over the body, Mowan reappeared inside herself again the minute she knocked her head and lost Moxin's memories.

So I've re-watched episode 11, 4:16 - 6:50.
The merged memories of Moxin and Mowan, as I understand from this scene, is in reference to the flashbacks in that entire segment. Mowan's memories are only from the point of amnesia onwards and not before.
In any case, nobody knows what Mowan's memories before the soul switching consist of, because she has never met Jun Qing, Emperor and every one else apart from her own sisters (funnily enough) which was why no one could recognise her as the Yao daughter.

Ok, personally for me, I differentiate between memories and soul/consciousness.

Even if there is residual/ full memories left in Mowan's body that's inherited by Moxin, that doesn't mean that the body now contains 2 persons. Otherwise in the first place there never was any "soul switching".

Anyway, that's how I rationalize it. If not, the alternative is Mowan's body contains Mowan and Moxin - then we have 2 people in love with one person.

1 episode in, looks promising initially. I like the sets and outfits, seems like a more recent production rather than a shelved older drama.

A bit confused halfway through... people seem to be posing and acting macho, nobody doing much communicating and abandoning defenseless folks in the forest (actually I find this incident quite disturbing).

Anyway, to be fair will watch on more episodes and see what happens.

I don't recall that being mentioned in the drama, only in the comments section though.

The only people who know about this soul switching is Moxin herself and her bff the Southland Princess, and even then she did not acknowledge that Mowan is present at that moment. It's not logical to have 2 souls in the same body anyway. Even if it's only residual memories, I doubt Mowan had any memories of ever being love with Jun Qing in the first place.

I honestly think that Mowan (the soul + personality + consciousness) has always been inside Moxin's body and never remained in her own body after the soul switching.
There has only ever been one person in love with Jun Qing, and that's Moxin. The same goes for Jun Qing because even though he fell in love with Mowan (the body), it is really Moxin's soul + consciousness in that body.
I think we have to totally forget about Mowan ever since ep 1. It is only her body that we're seeing.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think there's a reason for the magic/ transference we saw in ep 1. The souls definitely switched bodies. Whether there is any residual memories left behind in the respective bodies, we don't know (I actually don't think so) but the reason we see Mowan (with Moxin's soul inside) having sort of 2 sets of characteristics is probably because of the amnesia arc, when she developed the amnesiac personality.

Don't worry, there are a lot of viewers but they're just "in hiding" lol. If we look at the MDL stats, this show actually has more viewers than TPoC (1.5K vs 1K). So, we're in good company! Let's keep enjoying this :)

Initially that's what I thought, until we saw that Moxin's body is being preserved. That part is confusing because it was announced that she had passed on, but there was no official funeral or burial (maybe edited out) and suddenly we saw her body on the ice block (like in Princess Silver, the use of refrigeration to preserve bodies).

So I'm thinking the producers won't be so cruel as to abandon the real Mowan and hopefully will have them both switch back to their respective bodies.

Oh my, that's a lot of development over 5 episodes. Sounds like the story is becoming more depressing... Sigh.

Totally agree. The good guys are taking way too many hits while the bad guys keep coming and evolving. We are reaching the business end of this show already with only 8 episodes left so I hope the editing doesn't fail us anymore :/

Everyone who follows this to the end would be really upset. I've given up any hope of meaningful relationship development but I want at least 30 minutes instead of 30 secs for a happy reconciliation at the end (L&R got about 30 minutes too).

Most likely a happy ending. But if we just get 30 secs of that in the last episode, then I'll consider it a TRAGIC ending (for viewers).
