Though if that happens, could you imagine how nervous producers would be to do a season 4? Anything less than 4 couples ending up blissfully happy would seem a failure after how seasons 2 and 3 ended! That might be why rumors are there will be no season 4.

It could be editing but considering how much JS and SM supposedly like each other, how come they spend so little time together at the house? JS has his own room, you'd think SM would be visiting and they'd spend time talking to make up for no dates together.

Hwi and SJ are constantly together alone or sitting next to each other. Hwi even checked on JS after the group date before SM did. Now again, it could be editing to make it look that way, or JS and SM do spend time together alone and producers just don't show it but it's something I

Oh God, Build is not some innocent victim. Poi is a piece of crap six ways to Sunday but Build is responsible for what he said about his costars. He apologized for those messages and NEVER issued any sort of statement that they were false and he was suing for slander.
He's the one who ruined his reputation with Thai fans and companies by his two faced, hypocritical behavior.

But The Boyfriend has been so Shun Dai heavy that while producers might have not interfered, they certainly pushed the couple via editing.

Maybe The Boyfriend can do next season with Korean contestants. Even still, they are probably more reserved than their Japanese counterparts

Yah well, this is not a Netflix show but a show on Korean TV so has to pass their airing standards.
Plus, SK is a lot more conservative, repressed and not accepting of gay people.
So sure, itd be nice but its not going to happen any time soon that one guy can feel up another under the blanket and then go for a passionate kiss. Or standing around in underwear.

Thats why its not necessarily fair to compare the 2 series in regards to content.

I expect BOC invited platforms and networks to bid on the airing rights and VIU won. Probably offerred the most money plus I thought they are also a series sponsor. BOC probably needed that money too to help make a quality series. Jes is so popular, hiring him had to be an additional expense - certainly more than if they went with an actor under BOC. Thai BLs are mostly concerned with the Thai audience because that is where they make the most money even if a series is popular with international viewers.

I don't get all the complaints about Taishin being too naive. Who cares? Its a BL, why are you expecting something realistic like this should be queer cinema.

There's tons of other BLs with nonsensical storylines or unbelievable characters that some complaining about this one probably think are great. If this story isn't doing it for you, then drop it and move on to another BL that better pleases you. There's certainly a lot to choose from.

Also, keep in mind, this one employs tropes that Japanese manga readers like in BLs. So its not going to especially please Westen audiences.

I read that this season might be 14 episodes? It could be an error on the airing schedule posted so I guess we'll find out.

Plus are creative types if I remember correctly so understand those struggles. Isnt Hwi an artist? I know SEungjin is a dancer but is also a hair colorist.
If nothing else, they really have the basis of a great lasting friendship woth a lot in common.

I heard that YJ, SJ, MS (and Hwi probably if he ends up with SJ but of course that has to be hidden) are good friends after the show including hanging out together. Which makes sense since we saw how Minseon, Seungjin and Hwi have formed a friendship group on the show. And get along with YJ. And Hanbin maybe is dating YJ (or they are still friendly with each other) so he's included in the group.

That leaves MK, JS and SM and for the reasons we see on the show would not be part of the main friend group off air.

Maybe they were. If so, I give them thumbs 👍 for working the system to their benefit because I heard translators aren't generally paid very well for this type work.

BOC choosing Viu will significantly hurt the chances for international viewers to support the series properly. Many can't download the app since its not available in their country and can't afford or don't want to pay for a VPN to do so or to be able to go to Viu.com and watch. Then having to pay to watch the series on Viu is also another expense.

I know many will watch it on a "free" site. I hope that enough fans (Thai and others) will still watch via Viu so the official viewing numbers are good. I don't want the fans of the ex partner or Bible haters to have a reason to scream this series is a flop.

My feeling is this series will be a hit with Thai viewers. Fingers 🤞

And even if they did another series, why would you assume Bible is the bottom again? Why are you assuming he's only a bottom now? Maybe we'll see some verse action in 4 Mins.

Ah ok. I don't think we will get 4 couples this season. Maybe 2. The only thing that leads to possibly SJ and Hwi deciding to try to date is the photo of the guy with the painted fingernails with someone who looks like Hwi. But it all could be a red herring. But if having to plant a red herring means that the odds are pretty great that noone else got together either. Otherwise they could just do a photo of the couple that did match up at the end.

Anyway I can't see SJ confessing to Hwi unless he possibly thought the ferlings are returned
