I take it QC will beat the villain of this final arc based on the changes they've made. We don't see him in ep. 29 perhaps because he is preparing for the final fight. lol

This arc was SO MUCH better in the donghua. QF's death scene was better. Despite the low budget, the show has been entertaining because the story is good but the writers are butchering the ending. Sigh.

3 episodes in and the FML already does something extremely stupid during a battle. Tell me she gets smarter.

The last few episodes have been going so fast. I must've missed the part where Mr. Zhao was arrested and imprisoned. Fast forward and he's seen in prison. Would've been nice to see him try to run away and squirm when confronted...

The ML is the prettiest person in this drama. lol

Stepmom is very evil but there's no way they could've saved the FML's mom especially during the rain.

Binged through the donghua and love how the ML keeps on provoking and setting traps for his enemies. Hope there's a season 2 to see the ML's mom fight. She is very OP.

Agreed. Low budget but good. Wished the episodes were longer though cause it seems like every episode ends with the hot ML doing something cool.

The subbing has been a mess the last few episodes. The good news is that they get fixed. I re-watched episode 11 and the sub timings were fixed.

Are all of the minor villains going to blame the ML for everything? lol Despite the low budget, it's been enjoyable so far. The ML is VERY easy on the eyes and has a great swagger.

What an anti-climatic death of a villain. I don't understand why WZ didn't personally kill WLY. Have MN injure her and WZ can wake up and fire blast her into ash. Her sister then can come help her and also gets blasted into oblivion.

I think based on what we've seen, the Emperor's punishment for what he's done won't be very gratifying.

That's the only reason I can think of. Or they could've beaten her, chose to spare her life and MS can come in with the stabbing. lol

Wait I'm confused about power levels. Shouldn't YH alone be strong enough to beat SY after gaining her dark powers? Why did it seem like the leads fighting together were struggling against her?

She just needs to join the devil lord, get her memories back and torch her enemies. It's better than running away.

I'm not feeling JJY's acting in this. For most scenes, she just looks distraught even during big reveal scenes like when the demon lord found her the second time. She should look surprised or scared yet she barely made a change to her facial expression. There are times where she looks focused while others are talking and I'm hoping that she is working on devising a plan yet never says anything of importance.

The only character that is worth rooting for right now is the demon lord. Everyone else is annoying or uninteresting.
