Additional comment on 2. If you're watching this like a BL, STOP and turn the series off, and go watch a BL. This is a reality show with real people. The endings may not be to your satisfaction if you think it will have a "happy ending" seen in BLs.

1st: The army saved the gang from KCY and his son. The son died and KCY was hit by an arrow. They let him fly away. He was injured.
2nd: This one was trickier because he was trying to free the FL and flee while the sword king was fighting the Gu guy. He was able to injure KCY and I'm assuming could have killed him if they continued fighting. He let him off as as strategy but still got cornered by him at the end of the episode. He was mucked either way but if he had killed KCY, he would now have 1 less enemy.

ML, with modern knowledge, didn't remember to avoid the trope of letting villains live. He let that Kang uncle "nameless demon" off 2x for some reason.

I think authors should avoid the trope of having main characters suffer a lot so they can grow stronger. This has been done so often already that it's not fun to watch, ESPECIALLY for Cheng Yi's characters.

Been a long time since I've seen a show with this many crazy characters.

Consort Kang seems super impulsive (and way conceited). I would try to poison the food and fame the FL...or is that happening later?

Reading some of the comments about the leads in other realms, I didn't expect that the main villains would be the sect leaders. They just need to die already, especially that lady with a daughter who kills disciples to power up.

Poor dad. He lost all of his sons, even if one if them is a god. REALLY looking to a second season but only if they manage to stick to comedy. I'd like to see his fiances join him in the god realm.

HL's face when hiding is so cute. It's a good contrast because he actually looks really cool when battling.

Love all the parrallels with RPG/action games. Looting dead enemies 😂, consumables, leveling up and multiple stage bosses. Those foundation pills remind me of rare candies from Pokemon.

Haven't watched the last episode and with this review, I will not be doing so. Yikes. This was a show with too much angst already and to end it with more heartache? Yeah, no I can't finish it. I'm sorry but these tragic stories don't need a bigger budget. If I wanted to see tragedy, I'd just read or watch the news.

Leads are REALLY pretty but this show so far has been too heavy for me. There isn't any satisfaction in this revenge plot. Leads need to stop fighting and do more lovin'.

I don't understand the commenters who are defending the FL's intelligence. She is a modern woman who is an actress. She can't figure out that the ML in a story can't die until the end (if at all)? And yet...she has spent much of this show so far trying to kill him. She's a ditz.

The main reason I'm annoyed is that I'm tired of seeing the ML suffer due to the FL. Let this trope end.

Really funny at the beginning but too much angst right now...which is one of the tropes for romance shows I guess. But the ML being a good guy in romance stories is also a trope. Don't understand how the FL hasn't put on her actress cap to think this through. Why would the ML in a romance story be evil? So I'm currently for him to find someone else even though there's 0% chance of that happening. Let her sister be with NH. LOL

If my math is right, this show will actually finish airing SOONER than a 12 episode show where only 1 episode is broadcasted each week. 10 weeks to air 20 episodes + 1 week to air the first 4.

The numbers aren't too bad for the good side in this upcoming war. ML + 5 weapon spirits + war demon + FL. I think many will die though.

I see him the first one to die in this war. Dude's an old man on his death bed. He's not surviving 5 minutes of war against the ML. LOL

There's already LOTS of pretty boys in Cdrama land. I rather see a good actor with range and someone who can dub themselves as opposed to another wooden ML.
