The cast and crew just had their Wrap Party. So filming on the show is complete. I'm both excited and grateful. And i hope they had as much fun making the drama as i've had watching it.
In season 1 Phai and Thanu share visions together about their future as lovers, one of which is a tattoo of Thanu's…
In a way it is related to Saendee. In that Saendee wouldn't let up trying to destroy Wayu and Thanu's relationship in order to get Wayu out of the way so Thanu would choose Phai. Because he believed Phai and Thanu to be destined for each other. So Phai took an action that would prove to Saendee that destiny wasn't driving his ship, Phai was in charge of who he chose to love. He changed the tattoo.
The tattoo was a meaningful way to alter the course of the visions and thereby nullify the destiny Saendee was sure that Phai and Thanu shared.
Saendee is an obsessive personality and Phai apparently noted this. LOL
Could someone please explain what the tattoo means?
In season 1 Phai and Thanu share visions together about their future as lovers, one of which is a tattoo of Thanu's artist signature--a bow and arrow--on Phai's shoulder.
In order to prove to Saendee that fate doesn't choose who Phai is with, he purposefully chooses to get a different tattoo.
how come its not on IQIYI?? it was on there last week and now i cant find it
The catalog is pulled down as they make some adjustments. The episodes are still there, you just can't see their links.
I sussed out a list of direct links that can enable you to see the show until they put the catalog back up. Which might be sometime tomorrow, provided they have stuff worked out. But you'll need a VIP account and a VPN to use the links.
Let me know if you want the direct links to each episode. I'll DM them to you here on MDL.
yo im so invested in pok's and tong's relationship, like not to be rude or anything cuz i like everyone here like…
Hey, I agree that Pok and Tong's story is very compelling. They are my second favorite pairing in the show, after Wayu and Thanu. And I am very eager to see how long their separation lasts and what it will take to bring them back together. I am enjoying them in season 2 very much.
And yeah, we all knew Saendee had a thing for Phai and it was going to be them together. LOL! I just didn't predict they were going to go all Darth Saendee with Bank's character before he had a chance to get with Phai. Whew! That's been a ride!
But I'm really happy you are enjoying this season!
Don't worry. Star Hunter studios announced it would be Thanu/Wayu a long while back. There was a vote, some marketing…
Hints are pretty purposeful in the entertainment industry.
I work in comics and I can tell you...when a project is a go but marketing isn't ready, participants drop hint to wet appetites. There is almost always an active NDC on a project (Non-disclosure Contract), so there are no crumbs, no hints until we have permission to leak stuff. So if it's hinted at, it's probably legit. If someone posts something accidentally that shouldn't get out, then it gets pulled immediately.
And indeed, this has happened to Bas before. He was hanging over at GMMTV at one point, with some of their actors and he posted pics of himself and several of them. Within an hour the post was pulled down because he wasn't supposed to be leaking that he was doing anything with those actors.
But the hints that have been put out there about season 3 of Gen Y haven't been pulled. Which means the hints are permitted and therefore are informative. By dropping hints they are letting us know it's a thing before they actually get around to making formal announcements--Which can't come until well after the current season is complete.
And if something should occur that puts off the season, actor quitting, production strike, new COVID variant, etc... Then the fact that only hints were dropped gives them plausible deniability.
I'm quite weary myself about what they have planned for Saendee's character. I personally think that, to some…
Wary is a good way to put it. I don't really trust his sudden conversion. It's not that I don't think Saendee might turn around. I assume he will. Like I said, he's not got much further he could go interrupting Wayu and Thanu's romance without resorting to violence so the timing is okay. But I just don't see him making the change, at least not completely, just because Phai got a tattoo. I keep thinking it's going to take something more convincing.
Phai having a not-vision that sets him free from a destiny with Thanu was a nice touch, though.
Oh they probably can, just not with each other. Not sure if ultimately Pha will get a lover, but Wayu is pretty…
It's not 99% the same series. There are many significant differences. Just in the characters alone. No Forth. No Beam. Etc...
The main thing that stayed the same was that there was a Pha and a Kit. Though the Pha was an entirely different Pha than was in 2 Moons. Kimmon played a somewhat similar character to Ming, but not the same. And Wayu is the only child of a very affluent single parent family, just like Wayo. But the rest is so different I never even think of 2 Moons when watching Gen Y. There are a handful of surface similarities at best.
The reason they picked a story that had some familiar notes to 2 Moons wasn't to suggest the stories are linked, or to communicate that Gen Y was a sequel of any kind, but to drawn in the same fanbase that 2 Moons had. By picking Gen Y they got the attention of almost every 2 Moons fan out there that was disappointed by the cast change and reshoot that was 2 Moons 2. So Gen Y is fanservice, not a canonical sequel.
Why do sandee want phai to have thanu so much, like he will get something in return. even when phai is saying…
Oh, I think you'll get your low key wish. Saendee and Phai are on the road to "Thing", the awkward unresolved sexual and emotional tension before they become a couple.
As for why Saendee was pushing the Thanu agenda... That is all because he wanted Phai to be happy, in a weird, obsessive sort of way. And he mistakenly thought the only way to make Phai happy was to cement a relationship between Phai and Thanu. This was based on the idea he that they are destined for each other and Wayu was in the way of them being together. Saendee believed he had a right to decide who Thanu and Phai loved and set about to remove Wayu from the equation.
Don't worry. Star Hunter studios announced it would be Thanu/Wayu a long while back. There was a vote, some marketing…
I am glad the rough comments about Wayu don't deter you. Some of them can be really nasty and I've talked to a couple Wayu fans who just read here and won't post because of the Wayu hate.
I think most artists improve as they gain experience. And Bas is no different. He's come a long way from Wayo in 2 Moons. This week he premiered a movie that was opened in every theater in Thailand to sold out ticket sales. They had to do standing room only in some theaters. So Bas has really come into his own as an actor. And I adore his Wayu. I feel every moment of every second he's on screen.
I've tried to figure out why Some people hate him. There's no use worrying about it. The reasons switch to something new as soon as one idea is challenged and debunked. So it's not about him. Wayu is a great character and Bas does a wonderful job bringing him to life.
Don't worry. Star Hunter studios announced it would be Thanu/Wayu a long while back. There was a vote, some marketing…
Yeah, it would be nice if once Wayu and Thanu settle into a couple they become a supportive, healthy main pairing that has challenges they face without the temporary split that is so common in later seasons for BL couples.
Idk if I should ship Phai and Sandee again like I did in the first season, if Phai fell for Sandee then this whole…
One of the things I love best about the show is how each person's choices weave into what the others face. And Saendee/Phai becoming a thing later is certainly going to be the moment when people are like "Are you joking me! Why didn't you save all of us the heartache and just get together to begin with!!!" But I love that. Drama not for drama's sake, but generated from the twisted motivations, missed opportunities and bad decisions of the people involved.
So yeah, I will ship Saendee and Phai if they can redeem Saendee enough. But they sure haven't done it yet. They had moment. They had chemistry. But that doesn't make them a healthy couple for Phai to be part of. Not yet anyway.
In my now post-haze re-watch of the episode, I'm sitting here wondering if perhaps, Sandee backpedaled as quickly,…
As always, I enjoyed your post. And I get you being all kinds of there for Saendee's mayhem. I'm already missing his crazy. But if they turn him around now he still has time to start developing a thing with Phai. Which might be the reason they turned him around so fast. Plus, really, what else was he even going to do to Thanu/Wayu? He'd done everything short of violence.
I have this feeling Saendee may not be done as the villain, though. So I expect we'll get to enjoy his mayhem just a bit more. I mean, it's feasible that they take the rest of the season to work him back into the Juniors fold and have him rebuild his broken friendships. But he still needs work as a character that isn't evil. Right now it's not quite convincing, is it?
Markkit couple is really funny and sweet but I don't know why I still like Thanuwayu couple the most. Especially…
Don't worry. Star Hunter studios announced it would be Thanu/Wayu a long while back. There was a vote, some marketing and lots of other stuff to present Dun and Bas as professional BL acting partners, meaning their characters would be the end game couple. So Wayu and Thanu are meant for each other. I can't say how the season will end, but even if their relationship continues to unfold into season 3, we'll get our boys together in the end.
Wayu is my favorite too. And do not let the responses here about Wayu make you feel bad. There are plenty of us that love him best. I have found some incredible, very amazing and insightful friends here among the people who love Wayu.
But I am with you. I would love to see them head into Season 3 already a stable couple.

We may yet get that Padbok/Sab pairing. I love them together!
