1st of all don’t you know basic English? Use paragraphs. It’s hard to read your long winded rant.
It’s true that you didn’t call me crazy BUT you DID called me scary and that is what offends me. It’s just a fictional character we are talking about again what right do you have in offending others who don’t agree with your views. Please grow up and think about what you are saying. It’s really rude and hurtful to others.
It’s pointless trying to reason you so I am not replying to your next comment.
Yes Meikko did a lot of actions wrong. BUT again she didn’t intended for all of this to happen. I can’t see her as a snake, snakes intend to ruin things behind their backs. She tried to help blindly and it backfired. How many times do I have to mention this to you.
“But friends don’t do this!” You know what friends don’t do NOTHING! At least she tried to help. She really valued Makki as a friend to an extreme that she decided for her actions that’s really selfless of her because I wouldn’t do that for a friend ever!
surrogate mother is a very selfless thing to do. Meikko was willing to make a child in hopes to please Eiji parents and let Eiji and Makki be together. She did it for them not for herself. How is she a snake? She didn’t plan to be a mother to steal Eiji and hurt her friend, that makes no sense to me. Are we watching the same show?
Ok I agree she is termed as a psychopath (anti social, recluse, thinks differently) but she’s still a sane person. Maybe I am a psychopath as well but you can’t look down on these people on a negative light because they make mistakes you don’t agree with.
You can write your own review and give this show a 1 out of 10 and rant about how terrible Meikko is as a character. I am NEVER going to agree with you. Stop trying to reason with me because your views are very shallow.
It scares me that you proudly identify with Meiko. People like her certainly exist, but that doesn't change the…
I had a talk with my sister, we both agree Meiko is an idiot for what she did. But IN NO WAY SHE'S crazy in what you claim her to be. It's rude to personally attack someone because they don't agree with your views. Geez it's just a show. Relax.
In my view there's was'nt any signs that she in love with Eiji, she's clearly NOT in love with Makki for sure. If she was purely selfish and evil she would of been secretly trying to break the two apart. I have SEEN WORSE toxic female characters in BL drama trying to break up the male couple.
She has massive regrets for what she did to Makki, she tried to find him (episode 10). If she was selfish she would'nt of cared looking for him at all.
I see it as Meiko foolishly hoping that becoming a surrogate mother hoping that maybe that would help Eiji and Makki stay together. That plan clearly BACKFIRED and that she and Eiji have to live with the mistake of having a child that both are going to regret. People can be like that in real life they think this plan is going to work, they blindly think it will work. Only for it to fail. That is what Meiko did, she blindly thought having a child would please Eiji parents and Eiji and Makki stay together. Sadly she did'nt ask for Makki's thoughts on the plan, so she was a bit selfish on that part.
Meiko DID lie to Makki about the child yes that was wrong of her to do, I think human nature tells me she did it because she did'nt want to hurt Makki's feelings. Or she was scared to find out what would of happened if Makki found out that the child was Eiji's.
I mean I do feel sorry for Makki in this story, but he was the one that spoke to Meiko 1st.
God I am a stable person stop labelling me as crazy becuase I don't agree with your views, I would'nt really idolise her as I might change a bit of my review because I really liked her in the 1st few episodes and then she turned into a idiot and I liked her less. I found her thoughts in the 1st half relatable, until she decided to be a surrogate mother than she lost the plot. But she's still not as bad as some other female characters in BL dramas.
what in the heteronormative , selfish woman written drama did I just watch? That wasn't a good use of time and…
I mean you can have your own views on topics. I won't object to that
In my view I found the show super realistic, because soicety even now is still pretty homophobic and heteronormative. Believe it or not. Parents are REALLY MANIPULATIVE IN PARTICULAR ASAIN FAMILES.
Ok there are elements that are not realistic and out of place. But still WAY DIFFERENT to soicety's fantasy in BL shows.
why do you guys think eiji and makki got together? i don't think they ever loved each other tbh, they found comfort…
I think it was pretty important for Makki's development.
In the beginning Makki did'nt really know anything about love, it was when he was with Eiji that he embraced his sexuallity and realized that he is gay/bi. So when Makki came on to Asato that was from the experience when he was with Eiji.
Even though maybe the bond between Eiji and Makki was'nt that strong. It helped developed Makki character when he meets Asato later on.
So I am looking forward to watching this movie next year, or whenever the DVD release (or if it ever will).
The trailer did a good job telling VERY LITTLE about the story, because from someone who has finished reading the original novel. All of you are in for a ride.
I am honestly lukewarm about this 1st episode so far, it was ok at best.
I just don't like the pacing of this episode, it's so off. Random scenes placed here and there. I don't get what other user see this episode as "good".
Sato as Takara is so flat, but he looks cool. I like Oriyama as Amagi better so far just because he's cute. But their chemistry so far it's not there, I can't believe their romance one bit. I hope the next few episodes will change this.
But at least the mains have admited their feelings real quick so we can see some dating and development between the couple so I am keen to see their development in the next few episodes.
Episode 8 (watched raw) It was a fitting end to this drama and at least everything wrapped up neatly. I liked…
So there's A LOT I like about this episode
"10 things I want to do with Kaneda" was such a cute addtion to show that innocent mind of drama Yanase. I liked how he went through all of the points he wanted to do with Kaneda in his mind.
The remote talk between Yanase and Kaneda was well acted, I read in an interview that Naito wanted to re-do this scene. But I don't see anything wrong with it. It was such amazing acting on Naito's end, Yanase voice was breaking as he was saying to Kaneda that he has'nt changed after the year he went to Canada.
THEM CALLING EACH OTHER BY 1ST NAME YESS! It was one of Yanase's wishlist for Kaneda to call him "Jun". In turn Yanase confessed to Kaneda by saying "Yuki I love you" AHHHH!
The baseball scene was cute...but I did'nt see the point of it lol. It was like watching an omake lol. I am surpised that Yanase is the cook (kurosawa vibes much lol?) makes a great husband to Kaneda.
It was a fitting end to this drama and at least everything wrapped up neatly. I liked how everything connected back to the 1st episode and connected the final parts to the ending. That I admit was something clever and positive I will say the drama writers did right.
I overall liked this final episode, I will miss this series.
Double episode 10 (watched raw with no subs)It felt super short lol. But what a great ending to a great series!…
This episode was a mind trip lol. But I am gald Takara was the one who got out of his mental rut by himself. In a way he became independant from Yujin.
That whole scene with Takara in his original room with the fake Yujin, then running outside, then seeing illusions of his past. Ending with him coming to terms with himself in the middle of the street was a mind trip. Sometimes you can't tell what is real and an illusion.
Don't expect Takara and Yujin to get together because that's not the point of this drama series.
I mean the illusion Yujin kind of teased Takara about it (as SOON as Yujin was going to confess Takara knew he was fake and push him away 5head lol). But I guess the manga would maybe tackle that whole one sided love/admiration? I don't know honestly.

The simple answer is NO. Well it's very one sided love. But Takara form of "love" is hard to explain, even he does'nt understand it well enough.
Like for me, I would'nt volunteer in that position.
She's odd in that sense, her selfish/posession of Makki was extreme but then again. Makki appoached her 1st so IDK.
In my view I found the show super realistic, because soicety even now is still pretty homophobic and heteronormative. Believe it or not. Parents are REALLY MANIPULATIVE IN PARTICULAR ASAIN FAMILES.

More than words IS A LGBT show in my view.
In the beginning Makki did'nt really know anything about love, it was when he was with Eiji that he embraced his sexuallity and realized that he is gay/bi. So when Makki came on to Asato that was from the experience when he was with Eiji.

Yes Maki ends up with Asato by the end of the series.
The short answer is that one couple don't get a happy ending
The other couple gets a happy ending
The only person who got the short end of the stick is Eiji.
I don't think they are planning an English release any time soon
Let me say this, get ready to be emotional and cry over this movie.
That is all.
The trailer did a good job telling VERY LITTLE about the story, because from someone who has finished reading the original novel. All of you are in for a ride.

The answer is pure bromance.

My review is written up and ready to be posted.
I tried to look at their relationship in that way, but still I am very torn over their relationship.
