Double episode 10 (watched raw with no subs)

It felt super short lol. But what a great ending to a great series! It ended happily in a way.

I am pretty much going to write an review for a masterpiece of a j-drama series.

ANYWAY FINALLY Yanase's turn. 1st of all his POV is not what I expected at all lol. In the drama Yanase is just a innocent romantic, he's just as bad in romance as Kaneda is. WTH were those delusions Yanase was thinking, they are too innocent! I think Kaneda delusions are more extreme than the innocent delusions what Yanase's thinks.

I like Yanase has a list of what he wants to do with Kaneda, but again way too innocent. He's acting like a high school girl, it's too funny to watch. Also the way he thinks when he's in Kaneda's place was innocent as well, completely too polite and clueless on the things we know already like the shrine and calendar (like anyone could of pick those up) and even without knowing he gave Kaneda a scare.

I always say this, but this series just highlights how super handsome/beautiful/breathtaking Naito is plus the way he does monologue (faints). How is this drama version of Yanase so handsome yet so pure and innocent. He's like I don't know miles away from the manga version. This drama also highlights how cute Seto can be with just a simple haircut.

I found it a bit odd we are back at square one after a year time skip. I mean it's understandable. But it looks like in terms of Yanase and Kaneda there's like massive awkwardness even though these two have kissed (twice). This feels like it could drag on for more episodes but at least we have one more episode.

I felt a bit played by this episode, because nothing happened lol. So I hope this drama series ends with a bang!

Next episode preview: I really can't guess what will happen, there's the baseball scene and the "remote/faraway confession" but that's about it. I don't know anything beyond this point. But I am going to be sad because it means the last time Naito and Seto are acting together!

Wow I don't even know what to think of this episode. I feel I got trolled in a way lol.

I mean it was a fun episode and I always enjoy listening and watching Naito act as Yanase!

It's hard to describe, the two main character relationship is very close. They depend on each other, so there's different ways to view it.

In my view they are like siblings, or like a very close actor to manager (even junior and senior) relationship.

Episode 8 kind of changes the relationship between the two a bit (maybe like one sided love) but again different ways for the viewer to decide.

I feel guity that I passed on a drama like this one.

I know I am a fangirl. BUT I am binge watching the episodes just to watch a good physiological drama about stage actors/actor's lifes in general. The last drama/movie I watched about stage actors was theatre and that movie has a really toxic relationship between the main couple.

This is pretty much a underrated drama, I love the low key but professional laid back atmosphere this drama brings. It almost likes like I am watching a documentary. It's very well done drama.

Wow Chiba Yudai's acting IS AMAZING! So is Kento's acting as well. I see the two main characters like siblings they are VERY CLOSE and independant of each other. I love their dymanic and chemistry together.

FINALLY YANASE MONOLOGUE. It's been so long! Well it's not perfect but it condensed chapter 4 into drama form pretty well. It was so good to hear Yanase's monologue again and what he feels towards Kaneda/ transfering to Canada. What I did like is that Yanase originally turned down the offer to Canada but because of Kaneda he decided to take the offer.

The whole scene with Kaneda telling Yanase off and then confessing to him was *chefs kiss* Seto's acting is on point. Naito's acting is also on point with the way he reacted to Kaneda. Also after when Yanase said he was the stupid one. Just *chefs kiss* acting from both of them. That's how I wanted to see this scene from the manga.

The "CG screen" kiss was so gentle, it happened so fast lol. But Naito "seme face" is on point lol. Along with Seto naturally closing his eyes and kissing back. I still have a problem with Naito kissing the upper lip but whatever.

But as I feared this episode went straight into the Yanase dilemma without the context of Yanase's full feelings. They did show a bit of that in this episode with the whole "do it the way the client wants it" but in the manga there was so much more into Yanase character. I am sad that part of him in the manga got lost in the drama version. But still have to make do with what we have (drama CD version one day I hope!).

Finally I laughed loud with Tomoyo and Sakura being "Fujoshi shippers" as they were shipping the hell out of Yanase/Kaneda and Ichikawa/Iguchi pairings (lol really?! is Ichikawa/iguchi pairing really going to happen?!)

Next episode: Time skip and ignore the manga from now on lol (getting used to it). But still I am exicted for FINALLY Yanase POV from now on as he stays over in Kaneda place and hopefully he really starts going after Kaneda.

Finally watched episode 6 of Sepakoi

As a manga fan. THIS is so far my favourite episode!

It's not perfect but it finally delivered on what I wanted to see in this drama series.

God I really hope for the Yanase POV in episode 6 because it will explain his dilemma better than the drama tries to at least.

Episode 7 to 8 BETTER BE IN Yanase POV because I don't know how much Kaneda's POV I can endure lol.

In the manga is more in Yanase POV, it explains he has creative burnout from the stress of working aboard. That line of him "wanting others to love CG" is ture to his character, but himself is slightly falling out of love of CG because of the coperate demands of the high ups.

God I hate that this manga has been adapted according to the previous drama (mr unlucky) because the manga focused on the seme more than the uke and the drama trying with the uke POV instead. It's really annoying!

Benji I feel like is such an unnecessary addition to the drama, you can both work and have a romantic relationships you know? (I've met many people who do just that LOL).

Benji is just like an emotional gaslighter to Yanase (Like Yanase can stand up to himself), god like mind your own bussiness!

I mean I knew he was there to get Yanase to transfer but there could of been other ways to do this. Not to introduce an antagonist like him.

I just HATE the way they have ignored all of the Yanase POV! Like in the manga volume 1 it's clear we are in Yanase POV and we saw all his creative burnout and he felt about his developing feelings for Kaneda. That's why it felt relatable what he was going through and why Yanase felt he could'nt accept Kaneda's feelings and that's why Kaneda had to slap some sense into him!

It was IMPORTANT development for Yanase's character that's GONE because it's all going towards Kaneda development which I think it's not as important because Yanase is techincally the central character of this story and not kaneda (Ok he is important in the story but more in volume 2). From a non manga viewer I don't think they know a lot about Yanase apart from the baised viewpoint of Kaneda, so they can't relate to him at all. At this point Yanase is just a typical mysterious seme male love interest (which I honestly don't need again). I feel bad that Naito has NOTHING to do apart from look pretty on screen, god I missed his monologue. Episode 6 to 8 better have Yanase monologue or I am going to loose it lol.

Honestly I like the added Kaneda development and POV, but I think it's too much! It's does'nt tell the viewer anything more apart from "he's confused about his feelings but he really really likes Yanase and he's basically in love with him" again and again. It will get the viewer ready for Kaneda's feelings in episode 6 but NOT from Yanase POV ugh..

It's annoying because the next episode is diving straight away into manga material (chapter 4 in particular). Ok so the viewers will know the events from Kaneda's POV but not Yanase's POV and I am super worried of how it's going to turn out (either really good or a confused train wreck). It really needs the Yanase POV or the audience is going to get confused with the out of left field Yanase dilemma.

Still BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE NAITO AND SETO ACTING CHEMISTRY TOGETHER. I will still like this drama to a degree, but I feel like it's such a waste to cast talented actors like Naito and Seto and get them to act in whatever the drama writers thought this was good enough material.

Sigh I STILL have hope that this drama will pull something amazing in the second half of the episodes.

Sigh...I need to keep myself together..

In general.. I thought this episode was cute, with the Yanase sleepover and cute parfait dates. So it was much needed Yanase and Kaneda bonding/romantic development (because the last episode had none). LOL that's was 90% of the episode. I saw the Yanase transfer from a mile away (I guessed that was the reason Benji was there).

God it hurts me to say this..

As a manga fan the drama adaptation so far to me has been SUPER WONKY. I am getting a bit annoyed at how the drama writers decided to write the drama vs manga events.

Nah you are'nt the only one. That conversation they had held so much tension between the two. Kaneda was super manly towards Iguchi (almost seme like lol).

Benji is more like a mentor/friend like figure to Yanase and is concerned about his career. I don't get why dating someone in the same profession is bad or anything like that. Seto was so main character in this episode and for a moment I kinda shiped Kaneda and Iguchi lol (they look good together). Still on Kaneda POV mostly in the next episode as well.

Yanase place is very classy and is the same place in the ending song (that also changes every week)

ERM YANASE EXPLAIN YOURSELF.

I was trying to defend Yanase thinking he's not interested in Kaneda. This episode proves that this is a complete LIE. Because why else would Yanase take pictures of Kaneda in secret?

Ok Yanase is in love with Kaneda now..

Next episode: Sleep-over at Yanase place! Taking a page from the cherry magic drama huh? Not that I mind (this is also not in the manga so we going off the rails again). Kaneda is even wearing similar pajama's like Adachi lol.

Yayaya Episode 4! I mean as a manga fan it's odd for me but still I enjoyed the episode a lot.

Going in a drama original direction, a lot of Kaneda POV.

At this point Kaneda is the main character for this series (for now)

Lol Kaneda that daydream. I just laughed thinking that Kaneda wants to be smacked by Yanase over and over. I don't know if that shows Kaneda is just a masochist?

So Kaneda's feelings I think is fine for him to still wonder about. It's nice that the drama is showing more of Kaneda's monologue. I mean in the manga Kaneda was also slightly confused in his feelings, but very shortly he is sure of his feelings towards Yanase. Like even enough to boldly confess to him mulitple times.

That phase "Senpai, what is this feeling?" is SUCH a key line in the manga. The manga version showed it more towards Yanase's side and how he thought about it and in particular how Yanase answered. It will be interesting to see Yanase's answer to the question in the drama (if he ever does).

Visiting temples and rose gardens was cute. I really loved the scene where Kaneda is asking Yanase to take pictures of his back. Just the way Seto acted out Kaneda's "otome maiden" way of unbuttoning a shirt and trembling scared to take his shirt off. I thought was very "Kaneda" of him. Man Seto was kinda handsome this episode when he asked Yanase "Senpai,what is this feeling?" I mean this episode is a showcase of how cute Seto can be, answer is he's really cute/moe to me.

Next episode: Ohh ex-boyfriend, that's going to make Kaneda really envious. Will be interested to see what happens. Because this is also not in the manga (getting used to this fact).

After 2 looong weeks. Sepakoi has returned welcome back! I've been waiting.

I thought this episode was pretty good. It seems we are mostly going through Kaneda's developing feelings towards Yanase.

I am glad we have a few fans for this series at least..

I have not watched all of Saber but what I've watched of it is ok. Touma is just a fun character, yes his fashion suits his character and it's fun to see Naito in all sorts of hats/suits.

I love the ending song in particular, it's catchy for one and two watching Naito do the dance makes me smile.

I mean with not a lot of episodes left, this final loop is going to be rushed very quickly.

It really depends on Tol now, we will see it from his side. I think he's got it really easy because he has help from past Tin notebook.

Tol I thought sloved his problems too easily and really the only person he needs to change is Dr Tin himself. I hope Tol does'nt give up because he does seem really weak willed and still really misses the past loop Tin.

Yeah that dream and past Tin giving the notebook to Tol did'nt make any sense. But we don't have many episodes left.

Wow Dr Tin and his 180 degree character change in this current loop. I still will like Dr Tin in his past loops. I think this "nasty" version of Dr Tin is overplayed to me lol.

I felt it was cheap just to automatically make Gap and sing a couple in this present loop.

Nex epi preview: Yup "nasty" Dr Tin almost like a final boss to Tol. I hope Tol does'nt loose hope though. I am rooting for him.

Ugh Aisplay these days withholding such a great series.

While I don't think this episode is really as good as the past loops/episodes it was still great. I am still exicted to see how this loop turns out.
