Right I've put a request to change the episode count from 10 to 9.
I've translated the source of this confirmation of episode count. It comes from an interview/article of Inukai by Tokushima newspaper (hometown of Inukai's).
I wish Japan would make more BL series.. They have a unique style and I'm loving everything they have delivered…
I agree, I love japanese BL dramas they are all well produced and made with care. With the vast amounts of BL manga and novels being made constantly. Japan have a real opportunity to produce lots of BL dramas, but they don't.
But in the end, only a few amount of BL manga/novels get made into a live action drama per year. I think Japan demographic is not that interested in BL dramas (unless they cast big stars like male idols eg my love mix up) and the TV producers favor making regular dramas instead. So when a Japanese BL drama does get announced I get exicted (Kei x yaku is not really a BL drama tho sweats)
I also think the pool of Japanese male actors is wayy smaller then say the Thai or Korean population. Japanese male actors I think also favor themselves into the regular roles. But that's just a thought of mine.
Finally watched episode 5 I acutally REALLY liked this episode it was a very slow paced episode, but it really…
Episode 5 pretty much covered the rest of volume 3 and 4 as I thought from the manga. Although they cut out a lot of action paced stuff from the 4th volume.
I must admit this is the most gayest I've seen Shirou and Ichirou ever be. Like all of this stuff was in the manga as well but it really rings out when it is acted out by actors. Like this is boarderline "bromance romance" (but the manga is kind of like that too). MAYBE something more might happen between Shirou and Ichirou because Ichirou is really paying attention to Shirou that line he says to Shirou in episode 6 preview
Ichirou: After all of this is over, I want to talk to you more like this
It does feel like in the drama that Ichirou is developing some sort of feelings towards Shirou (which is funny because Shirou in the manga was the one who had a crush on Ichirou). Ichirou is like a nagging mum/housewife telling Shirou to eat his vegatables (that was really cute).
But I like this natural bond between Ichirou and Shirou, it looks like it's going to develop more in the next episode.
As for the investigation I like the addition of the original character, his addition is a good reason for Shirou to feel attached to resolving the case as well as Rion. (In the manga there was no reason for Shirou to stay on in the investigation after they found Rion).
Omake: THAT is the most gayest one I've seen so far. Ichirou and Shirou do sleep on the same bed multiple times in the manga. So of course they were going to share a "bed" with each other. lol
Next episode preview: At this point the drama is REALLY straying off from the manga. All of the involvment from the drama original character and Ichirou going to interview him as well Shirou interviewing a women I don't know as a manga reader. I can't predict the next episode based on the manga lol.
I acutally REALLY liked this episode it was a very slow paced episode, but it really took the time to explain everything to you and really develop the bond futher between Shirou and Ichirou.
Ugh I wanted to take a break..anywayMagazine Edge (that is hosting the manga) has posted an interview with Suzuki,…
Some highlights is:
Suzuki admited forming a little crush(?) on Inukai while fliming (Q:Suzuki did you felt your heartbeat/flutter when doing scenes with Inukai? Suzuki: well in a pure way..yes)
Suzuki again saying Inukai side profile is really pretty.
Suzuki saying he remembers meeting Inukai privately with friends 3-4 years ago
Inukai not remembering meeting Suzuki and he does'nt have his Line details, So Suzuki is like "nice to meet you"
Suzuki wanting to take Inukai to the Sauna and Inukai wanting to take Suzuki to eat Ramen. Inukai joking about having a contract with Suzuki
It's a good read (you can use google translate for a rough translation which I did). I don't think I'll have time to translate it fully maybe I don't know.
YEAH RAPPING! That's something new for Japanese BL! I like to see how Japanese Rap is being handled. Sigh wish I could read the manga. From what I see it looks really well directed.
This is a bit of a warning/concern I have with the manga spoilersI willing to spoil what happens with the manga…
I am not a gatekeeper when it comes to spoilers, I am willing to spoil, but I had to reasure a non manga reader/drama viewer because they saw the volume 5 spoiler on twitter.
I am just really annoyed, can we fans be civil and respectful of manga spoilers ugh.
This is a bit of a warning/concern I have with the manga spoilers
I willing to spoil what happens with the manga when requested, but on twitter people who own the e-manga have been leaking spoiler pages at the wrong time (like that twitter user posting a spoiler from volume 5 in reponse to agurment scene, when it's not related to it)
Anyway please be careful when looking at manga spoilers on twitter, and to manga owners of Kei x yaku PLEASE don't go posting random spoilers from the manga on social media. You are worrying some non manga readers who only watch the drama.
I have posted some spoiler scans from the manga, but it was used to explain my points (and it's on my tumblr which is hidden-ish and not out in the open like twitter)
*sigh* I hate being this type of complainer on shows, but scrolling down, looks like the consensus is this will…
No you have every right to complain in fact I SHOULD complain as well because I've read the manga for Kei x Yaku and I am annoyed that the drama has nerfed/removed most of the romantic signs between Shirou and Ichirou (or what little of it there was in the manga it was still there)
I don't think you should worry about Rion and Ichirou relationship because it is just a senpai/kohai one. Rion cares more about Shirou then Ichirou lol.
Inukai Atsuhiro is at least getting some the recognition he deserves from the non JP fans through this series.…
Inukai Atsuhiro is already well known in Japan for Kamen rider build (kind of most of Inukai fans are sento fans lol), but him getting more attention from non JP fans is more important it's nice to see.
Remember non JP fans to watch zettai BL season 2 in March! (if there's a way to watch it that is)
It was an ok episode, with the introduction of the 4 other guys and how they are planing to get close to Theo. Which I can guess they are going for Theo for personal gains because of Theo status in the university.
Thank god Akk is there as Theo's caretaker lol. No but I really like the natural chemistry between Force and Book it feels like to me that they are very comforable around each other. This is a good thing.
Sure it's slow paced but is'nt all Thai BL like that in the begining the pacing is slow but picks up as the episodes airs. Like give it 4 more weeks to see if the pacing has gotten any better.
It was another SLOW episode but again the development is building nicely

Feel free to read it if you want, I remember seeing a translation on twitter but tumblr is a better place to hold interview prose.

Like imagen if there's a scene like mob running to the airport to chase Kikuchi or something like that.
But most likely I am guessing an "open ending"

Website is updated, still no theatre date for Japan so hopefully they promise spring of this year.
But we have a trailer!

Kamen Rider build I mean.

"It's salty, tamagoyaki should be sweet. That's common sense!"
When Shirou is in bed with a cold, Ichirou looks at his watch and says:
"Should I make congee for you?" (Ichirou did'nt ask if Shirou can make congee because Shirou can't cook)
When Ichirou comes back to Shirou's place to find Shirou not there, he finds a note besides the congee pot that says:
"Having homemade congee sure is nice" (Shirou did'nt make his congee, he can't cook. it confirms he ate Ichirou's congee)
When Shirou having that hallucination with Ichirou after Ichirou says "welcome back":
"What do you mean by welcome back? That's creepy!"
Apart from that the rest of the translation is fine for episode 4
But there is some wonky translation from episode 4 I want to correct because it's bugging me.
It's like a double pun.
