This did not feel like a show. It was a biopic for the ups and downs of life and how parents are parents for the first time. For people my age, it was an eye-opener to see how much the seemingly mundane things our parents do could be the same things that they look forward to doing and what makes their day.
My chest is heavy. My head is pounding. My throat is dry. My eyes are burning. This drama did not need to do all that. I will never heal 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 Drama of the year IMMEDIATELY. Goodbye I’m off to grieve. I need to find my Gwanshik and ParkToto
This will be my top 3 dramas, hell even dethroned My Mister at this point.not even kidding😭
It just feels home when i watched this masterpiece, it just stabbed your heart and soul without even realizing, this is what reality is, not just flashy lifestyles etc, life is full of meaning if we have FAMILY and PEOPLE WHO CARES ABOUT US. Thats really matter.
Tbh, i think Geumyoung has identifying someone who aligns well with your values, goals, and emotional needs even weird humours with Park toto. When she was still with the ex bf, i skipped most of their screentime😀im sorry but would cringe at the thought of getting up from my seat.
Even if it already known that someone dies, probably most of them are no longer in the screen but i feel relieved and happy to witness such this masterpiece. Aseun with Gwansik are totally compatible in every aspect of life. Even the boss dad lol he has redemption arc thank god he is so funny. 3 Ahjummas omg they bring fresh humour 😭 all of them.
I struggled a bit... finishing the final part of When Life Gives You Tangerines (Thank You For Your Hard Work).
I started watching, ended up crying (again), paused to take a breather… then picked it back up, cried some more, ate dinner with puffy eyes, and kept going.
It’s just so beautiful. I cried in every episode. Even though their lives reflect a different generation from mine, I could still relate to it on so many levels.
I’m sad it’s over, but at the same time, it left me feeling comforted. The only other K-drama that gave me a similar feeling were Reply 1988, My Liberation notes and My Mister.
Some thoughts: A parent’s love is unmatched. No matter how old you get, you’re always their baby. There’s so much to love about this drama, and I think they captured emotions and relationships in a way that’s universally relatable.
The cast was phenomenal, and the storytelling was so touching and heartfelt. It’s a show that stays with you.
Please, someone tell me where I can find a Gwansik or Park Toto? 🤣
Where is park bo gum? They sold drama on his name. And he is nowhere to found. Cheaters. They should have sold…
The fact that this is even discussed is that people are not watching the drama as a whole plot but a certain character and actor and their romance plot...
can people just follow the plot of the drama? like it's clear from the very first episode the story will be about 3 generation of women and the life of aesun and gwanshik....and other 2 senior actors doing such a fantastic job as older aesoon and gwanshik that there is nothing to complain about
And obviously aesoon daughter will have more plot coz without her that generation cycle won't break...plz drama watcher at least think a little what u are watching.
The only thing I didn’t like was how they showed Guem Myeong and her future husband having some connection while…
His relationship was messy and i believe it was after he told his ex 'you are school dropout, she is SNU graduate' basement incident where she brought mandu for him and caught hearing he and the ex was fighting about useless money things and Parkcasso attempt to break up with the ex. ( Who wanted to be doormat after being cheated for 6x?🫠)
From the drawing,i believed it was the day when Park-casso's mother gave English books and he lifted for her. And when they eaten in food stall
The wait is unbelievably torturing my soul 😭 its tomorrow but somehow I am heavy to let this drama go. I hope for the best ending and please I just hope a happy marriage for both Geumyoung and Parkcasso guy. I dont want them to divorce
Why she was hospitalised in volume 3. The scene where she was fainted and Kim seon ho carrying her to the hospital,…
Korean houses used to commonly be heated by briquettes. If they burned improperly, the toxic air would flow into the house and cause carbon monoxide poisoning. So Geumyoung was unlucky that day and coincidentally, Park Casso was there, probably a marriage proposal to the landlord's daughter as suggested by Geumyoung when they had a convo about in hawker stall night before .but when he heard Geumyoung's mom screaming for help, he swiftly ran towards her carried her. Talk about action speaks louder than words.
can someone explain to me why young beom’s mom was so miserable in the future? like seeing how rude she was…
The daughter in law probably treats the elderly mom as a maid to raise the grandson. She's probably the breadwinner too which is why the mom walks on eggshells around the daughter in law. This was such a depressing scene that got me still thinking about it til now 😢. Consequences of her actions but the guy never grew a spine either and chose to be a "filial son".She was complaining that the daughter in law SHE chose isn't treating her right. When her son says it's all her own doing, she decides to guilt trip him. She humiliated herself.

I doubt he cheats on his wife, he is beside her since they were 10. No way

Got it already
