I started getting bored after episode 4 and i dropped it im just not interested to continue 😪 not to mention what an annoying character Choi Ira was like omg i wanted her to shut up in every scene like pls i just hate when people act this way or maybe its because im an introvert and i cant stand too much noise ...anyway the only good thing about this kdrama was Doonas outfits fr i rly liked them!
This is based on a real story of the king and his love for his palace maid. It's not a fictional story and the…
Yes i know its from a real story, but still, this is a kdrama. They could have avoided a tragedy and give us a happier ending instead. There is no need to follow the exact real life events 🤷♀️
i dropped this and put it on hold last year and im watching it again. i managed to finish it. i have to say that i'm still not a huge fan of this drama (it wasn't the worse i've seen but not the best as most claim). i do have a few things i liked, but there are also many things i disliked..i see so many comments saying they loved it but i can't relate ;;; (tagging this as spoilers just in case) first of all the first 6-7 episodes felt so boring to me. i had to skip a few scenes to go through it...not to mention how annoying that old king was OMG i just wanted to strangle him just by hearing his annoying voice.. and after, we had to deal with the FL playing hard to get and denying the ML in becoming his concubine for so many episodes like girl just say yes so you can live a comfortable life. i seriously dont understand her logic ;; it's very obvious that the ML loves her and will protect her for life, so why couldn't she just accept and end her suffering? even as a palace maid, would she be really free as she wanted? she's not. people like that mean concubine and others will constantly try to harm her etc. and anyway...now we are heading to the last episode ;; which is just a tragedy. the drama would be so much better if it just ended on ep 16. so many historical dramas end like that. when the couple is happy with a baby on their way like damn why did they have to do that? after everything they went through together they deserved a happy ending. .. (i know they got inspired by real life historical events i know that life back then was tragic, but still this is fiction..they could have avoided adding it? why are kdramas so obsessed with giving us tragedies as endings like seriously??)
Rewatching this again because for some reason I forgot about the whole story. On ep 3 and I applaud ML being so…
bloodhounds - it was released a few months ago. i also remember him in Save me and he was pretty good there! but i'm sure he has played in other dramas too!
this drama wasn't bad but there are a few things that confused me...and i lost interest after the second half.. not to mention that the FL and ML get together too fast without even saying anything to each other? like in one episode the FL was treating ML harshly and in the next ep she runs in his arms crying like??? their romance developed pretty weird ...i don't even remember them talking a lot before ''getting together'' it was mostly one sided from the ML's side because of the ID card... what i REALLY enjoyed though was the Jo Yeong/ Eunsup scenes-interactions lmao. they were the best part of the drama for me.
What would you place above it for 2023 then in your opinion?
Well as i said i found some scenes boring so for me it doesnt take the cake it depends on taste i guess 🤷♀️ its not like i said the drama sucked i gave it a good rating lol people can be so sensitive on here..
Don't hope, just find typical romance drama then instead of watching this masterpiece, ur taste is not for the…
Lmao why are you so aggressive ? You think i only watch romance dramas? If you check my profile youll see that i watch many genres i just didnt enjoy this as much as u did its not that deep
i found the scenes with the agents a little boring especially the ones where they showed the parent's past (action is just not my thing and i find the gangsters so annoying like omg all they do is yell and fight yawnn) but i wanted to give this drama a chance due to the high ratings. i enjoyed it quite a lot, the story was interesting (never seen a drama with superpowers before lol) and the acting was great. i wouldn't say its the best drama of 2023 for me but i'm curious to see what will happen in season 2 ;;
just finished watching it and i really enjoyed it even though i'm still confused about some things regarding the time travel...also i was happy to recognize the song played by seo ji won lol! i used to listen to retro korean playlists and i recognized this song right away (i just didn't know the name since it was in hangul in youtube lol) p.s why are so many people arguing over the original and the remake? like it's so unserious. if you don't like this and prefer the original fine. go watch the original and shut up lol. if you haven't seen the original and enjoyed this one it's also fine. people are free to enjoy whatever they want!! it's just a drama so let's not act so dramatic omgg yall are acting like children fr
SOMEDAY OR ONE DAY SUPERIOR 😎😎😎😎A TIME CALLED YOU SHIT 💩
you sound like a child dropping thousands of hate comments just because they made a remake of the drama you love like what the hell lmao. are you their lawyer or something? why are you getting so defensive and insecure over a drama? please unclench and get a life lol.
Currently reading the webtoon and im so excited to see the live adaption version ;; hope we will have more news soon! I feel like the adaption will be great it has the potential for a good psychological thriller drama !
