Almost all Korean series that has school as a primary part of plot is toxic. Sometimes I wonder, is it even true that Korean school system is this toxic, and office culture is even more toxic.

I should not assume, but It's true, for entertainment purposes they may show exaggerate part of it, but it is true, as stories are always drawn from reality.

From school rich kids to rich parents, manipulating education to benefit their children, crushing others who does not have money to education management favoring them to school gang, rape, violence and murder. What I have seen, the school life that they show, even it is exaggeration, it is sad to see how depressing it is.

I sometimes wonder the pressure that killed so many celebrities, idols, played an important role making them end their lives.

And this is just not one thing, there are unbelievable pressure on celebs and idols from their fans and we don't even realise it, before destroying a person SNS. We, fans, plays 50% role in the death of them, intentionally or unintentionally. I realised this, when I saw, Jang Jayeon, Gohara, Sullie, Jonghuyn, Cha Inha, gone without any explanation.

I die for a series or film, that has tragedy, love and music in it. Its like perfect trio of elements that gives you laughter, tears and sense of fulfilment.

You are right, people vote according to their personal likeness, and thats what rating system is about. You like the person you vote for, you like the drama you vote - regardless of quality, not all are critics, and not all have to be. And I am also not critic.

But when lobbying is suspected, the admins and owners of this site has access to all data, and they know when something is wrong. So thats why it should be investigated.

But a registered user must be acknowledge as a valid user, to calculate true rating, a REGISTERED USER is a valid user not a person who has a valid account.

Rating is definitely a factor for viewers to decide on a drama. It is not, and should not be a standard, but this is how it is. Given the recent clean-up of MDL and rating lobbying on several dramas, it is not a surprise to see this kind of rating.

Not all drama has high ratings, ratings usually immediately went down, as people start watching it and adding it in a list. It had 8.1 rating some days ago and now 8.8, yesterday it was 8.7. This sudden surge of rating is doubtful. This does not happen often. The most talked about and watched drama right now is True Beauty and Mr. Queen, and they have 8.8 and 8.6 rating respectively. And they are close to their finale.

I am not arguing which drama is best or my personal keenness to any drama, but this is unusual for any drama to get this rating surge in a short period of time.

For example, The Untamed - because of its huge fan following, and constant lobbying of users (use can even see in comments) has 9.1 rating now. People will curse you, if you talk bad about that drama. The rating went down to 8.4 when MDL sweep their algorithm, and before sweeping it had 9.4, but even after that, the users lobbied it heavily and were able to make it to 9.1 again.

So it is sad to see, this kind of unfair rating system. Of course, people will decide which drama is bad or good, regardless of ratings, but because of this, many contents get unnoticed and this is why some people like me, have problem with ratings.

And to be honest, admins are not doing anything and they will not do anything.

But my role as a user on this site is to raise voice, and I have done that - messaged staff member, raise an issue on forum (as told) and commented here for users to follow - because thats all I could do.

First. this is not light drama.
Second. chemistry was seriously off between leads. I liked the girl, but boys was out of compassion.
Third. second lead, was cute, promising and actually with chemistry.

Story was good, it could have been 6 episodes.

Editorial staff must investigate this ratings as a suspected lobbying.

This is highly unfair if the accounts were made to increase this ratings, in this short period, how on earth rating went from 8.1 to 8.7? I just don't understand

K dramas has this habit of ML's mother usually assuming their kid being gay, if they are not dating and stuff like that, which annoys me to core but as SK is moving forward BL stories, it is no longer the case. Love With Flaws, was the first series with startdust cast that featured a gay character (RIP CIH) but slowly they are normalizing it.

This is the first breakup (sort of) in K drama land, that I actually understood. And it didn't fumed me up a bit. Congrats and much thanks to writer and director for such a simple story and wonderful direction, that keep giving us warmth and honest conversations.
