Believe me, Jung Kyung acting in that drama is one to watch for, he acted with his eyes. You will know what I am talking about after you will experience yourself.
I really loved this drama in the beginning. It was different, intriguing, and dark at the same time. However,…
If it's not predictable, it's not K-drama, and very few lot is of those dramas that are not predictable. But still I find FOW one of best of 2020, if not overall. All high profile K-dramas either have unsatisfied endings, bitter sweet endings or bad endings. After secrets are exposed, almost all dramas in K industry at one point loses its pace, so I can give benefit of doubt to FOW as well. I did, and I loved it, I was just hoping for extra crisp to so I could give A+.
My love Son Ye Jin is a greatest Korean actress, and honestly speaking she has best co-star in her journey of 20 years. Her acting skills is class, in SITR, what struck me most was Jung Hae-In, he leveled himself, with her caliber, and delivered stunning and outstanding performance, definitely one of the most talented actor I have seen, my jaw dropped when I find out he is 34. I thought he was around 26-27.
I binged watch OSN as well after watching SITR, and I still don't feel any shame for sidelining my all work to binge these two dramas.
i agree with you full stop. i'm not a huge fan of Life but the writer has made her mark. i like what you said…
In my humble opinion, it would be injustice to compare this to The Wire or Sopranos, yes this series surely one of the best, but it remained under the Korean toxic culture of respect that is lead by position and age. Well it is their culture I respect that, but they should be able to eradicate this through his medium.
I haven't been able to find the show as close as Wire or Sopranos, not even BB. And I watched Wire and Sopranos, only 6 years ago, so it's not about being legendary or classic, but they were trailblazer and groundbreaking.
