The tirals and tribulations for FL in this drama should be like this, as she is having a secret that is very big in that time of period, so it is not tiring to see that she is on verge of problems everyday....it is exactly how it should be.

What I’m discussing is the representation in media. If you look at any Chinese TV series or film, you’ll notice that bad guys are always caught by the good guys. It’s virtually impossible for any media to pass approval in China if it doesn’t align with CCP policies. You can’t portray China negatively or show a bad image of the country. As a result, many series end up being far from reality.
You can choose to accept or reject this observation, but you can’t take your own thoughts, turn them into facts, and present them as the truth.
What I love about CN mystery/murder/thriller show is that they don't drag it out like Korean and JP, because they don't want to show that People's police is incompetent and not smarter than criminals. So they have to force their political agenda and country's leader image to showcase that CN in No 1 in everything, catching criminals to having all the great mind working to showcase they overpower all kind of issues, that other people have not handled well, as they do.
This fake and cringy approach is very good for me, as I don't want to see the dragging stuff to the end. Korea is enough for dragging matters and criminals to the end and still they roam free and their is no punishment, but because of CN political agenda and country's Image this is done is very swiftly, quickly and scripted way that I don't have to get all angsty and boil my blood for nothing, as I know they will catch all the bad people in a jiff.
This feels different—maybe not entirely, but it has its own charm. I like it. I really hope YJU becomes good friends with SJU; he’s so adorable. He’s clearly tired of his mother but loves her deeply at the same time. I hope that while supporting her son, he finds success himself.
But since this is a Korean drama with an idol theme, it’s unlikely to have many winning moments—there will probably be more losses. It’s hard to say if he’ll truly achieve fame. These dramas often build up the anticipation of revenge and success, only to have the character change their heart at the last moment, turning it into a quieter resolution. That kind of twist is always the most frustrating part of such K-dramas!
please don't argue, it is not BL, it is not bromance, it may be based on that material or something like that but since this is airing WETV international and in China, and actors are mainstream and famous, this is never going to be LGBTQ+. I tihnk FL friend that were murdered in past, didn't like ML, I think someone forced her to do that so that FL breakup with ML, it is someone else doing, DM would never do that to FL, they were so good friends, and when FL-ML were getting together, she was so happy, so how in middle she started claiming that she liked ML and wants FL, her best friend to breakup with ML. I am pretty sure someone else forced her to do that by threatening her and when she couldn't do it, they killed her.
I doubt that the killer is ML trashy FL friend, I know she hired someone to destroy FL, but she is not killer.
My guess is this is the doing of SML, he is psycho, plus his daddy and mommy issues took a toll on him, and his perverted nature couldn't handle the fact that FL doesn't like her, so he is doing these crimes to isolate her. Thats a perfect arc for story now, but let's say how it goes.

I wish Korea had adapted their webtoon, but Japan did a fabulous job.
