Tbh I’m confused too… like what are we supposed to take from this? That the only ‘relief’ from domestic…
you're clearly seeing things the way you Want to see, because one other abused woman simply moved out, because her situation was not as critical and complicated, while the other one was so much that the only way out was to die or kill. media literacy??
this woman isn't much different from this man, eh? slapped a woman in public just because she couldn't handle a little criticism of her work. how pathetic and fragile.
the director's doing something. the abuse scene was so interestingly shot, plus it was shot in a way that puts the focus on the abuser and displays the relationship dynamic. not just women torture pxrn.
usually i get low ratings, like jirisan, who evidently had major flaws. but this one? most criticism seems to be based on people missing the point, that is even repeated in every episode, the core of the story: that there is no point, some people just happen to become frogs. if you're into an unsettling, slow burn and violent exploration of this phenomenon, do NOT trust the rating lmao.
she has harmed so many people for 0 reason. it's so infuriating to watch such sociopath characters because there's never a reason, people get harmed simply because freaks like her exist. no matter how many times you ask: why?
and does she not realise that her location is being tracked??? there will be records of her being at the crime scene DURING the crime, wtf. or at least i Think there'll be records. sloppy sloppy
it's lazy writing to show "flashbacks" that may or may not even be true to set an unreliable narrator. they could show fragments of what actually happened to confuse us but no, not that smart. now I'll spend 12 hours wondering if i can trust what "objective" pov i am being shown. I'll do this for kim go eun, i guess.
