I am currently on episode 12 and they still giving us the history of the couple, with 10 more episodes to go, when are we ever gonna move to present day. I hope they don't rush the present day story. I heard this show was suppose to be 38 episodes but it got reduced to 22. Fingers crossed they don't mess this up. I am enjoying everything about the show so far. Solid story and great acting with beautifu OSTs.
Something In The Rain is the reason I started watching Kdrama's in the first place. I stumbled onto it on Netflix and instantly fell in love. It is one of my top ten favorite Kdrama's. I love him in his roles.
I HATE WITH MY WHOLE BEING THE KISSING SCENES!!!!!. I am like, this is SO unrealistic... no one, not even the actors themselves, kiss like this in real life. I wonder how annoyed they are with filming those types of scenes lol.
I never watch ANY show, whether it be from the US, UK, or in K or C dramas with a love triangle... I cannot stand it. I can think of two US shows I watched with a love triangle and that was still annoying to go through and one of them I gave up and stop watching it cause it annoyed me.
I cannot stand long season US shows, I rather watch a 16 episode 1hr and 30 min drama than SEASONS that are drawn out. I don't even watch C-drama's with more than 40 episodes. That's as high as I am willing to go.
I don't hate the childhood connection but I do roll my eyes sometimes like... umm bruh but in all honesty, it's one of the least unrealistic things that these dramas do so I don't take it on, and well the product placement CRACK me up... it's legit a whole art form that I find funny and admire the commitment to film a whole ad within a show...
Subway, KFC, Hyundai, etc obviously spend A LOT of money on these shows and they make sure to get ALL of it back with product placement
I watched a show where only coming to the end I realize the girl always had a headset around her neck in LEGIT almost every scene even down to the scene where they were going to get register to get married she was wearing it and only then did I realize the WHOLE time it's a product placement I am glad I only realized that at the end cause it would have been unable to ignore it if I saw it earlier. lol
All in all, great article, it was good seeing some of the things I cringe at being said out loud. lol
