Unfortunately, that seems to be the classic gmmtv writing style. Drag the main couple's storyline for several…
Yes, you are right. I noticed this pattern in GMMTV series. I was hoping that they would not apply it to this series because it does not fit AyanAkk, but here we are again. The lack of development of Akk's character demonstrates that the scriptwriters cannot handle morally gray characters well. He has no redeeming qualities, and his actions are wrong. They are trying to make the viewer sympathize with him because he is disadvantaged, but it is not working anymore, at least for me. As you pointed out, Not Me is a great instance of a successful relationship dynamic that did not follow the formula. It also has morally gray characters, such as Sean, Dan, and Black, who have redeeming qualities and actions that make them easy to sympathize with. Regarding the kiss in episode six, I think that it could have happened only if Akk had had positive character development.
I knew people are going to hate on Akk when he rejected Ayan but please try to understand both characters guys,…
I personally dislike Akk not because he rejected Ayan, but because of his personality.
Yes, he comes from a financially underprivileged family, but he is selfish, opportunistic, manipulative, and a teacher's pet, which has nothing to do with being disadvantaged. He has every negative quality that a high school student can have except being a bully. His character is difficult to sympathize with. I do not feel any connection to him anymore because he does not improve except for in occasional moments.
There are four episodes left, and he is more or less the same a**hole that he was in episode one. Either his character development will happen unbelievably quickly or he will remain an unlikeable character.
Honestly i hated Akk in this ep ..i don't quite agree with u concerning Ayan i loved a lot in this ep as well…
Yes! This is what I have been saying since episode five. He is selfish, and I do not see any character development. There are only four episodes left. Either he will have a rushed and unconvincing character development or he will stay an opportunistic egoist. In both cases, his character will remain unlikeable. He does not deserve Ayan. I am not rooting for them anymore.
Ya it add information about Dika and Chadok.. I assume it will reveal later in thisseries.
Yes, it added a little information, but it has been obvious since episode on that Chadok was involved, to one extent or another, in Dika's death. What this episode revealed was not new.
Your comment scares me, Stef🥺. This is my biggest fear in a fave BL, when the writing is no longer going as…
I am also scared that what should have been my top ship of 2022 is going downhill. :( This episode was mostly a filler. You will not learn much new from it. :)
There are four episodes left, and the story has not got anywhere regarding Dika. Episode eight was a filler that did not advance the plot in any significant way. I am starting to suspect that thr plot will be rushed in the last two episodes.
I cannot believe that I am saying this, but AyanAkk lost me completely in this episode. I do not feel any connection between them anymore. Akk behaves like a horrible person, and at this point I do not understand why Ayan is drawn to him. It makes no sense. Not to mention that this episode degraded them to the cliché "he was chasing after him, now it is the other way round" dynamic. This is not what should have happened. Furthermore, Ayan's confession was rushed and looked really out of place.
I was not particularly invested in KhanThua before, but now I think that they are the superior couple. They are wholesome and demonstrate character development.
