Another thing: Ayan’s line “No one in this damn school can be trusted” stuck with me not only because it is on-point, but also because I thought that Ayan trusted Thua. I wonder if he just exaggerated the “no one” part or he suspects Thua of something.
Namo has been present and missing throughout the series. It's interesting how they gave him importance despite…
I also thought that he must have wanted to hang out, but this is too simplistic for Ayan. He would not sneak into the school at night just to hang out.

It actually does not make sense for a student to have the keys for ither students' lockers because this might lead to theft and theft acusations. I think that the person who stole Ayan's notebook indeed got the keys from a teacher. I still like the theory that Ayan might have staged the notebook thing, though.
You are right. Ayan probably wanted to explore the school properly. If he was really looking for his notebook, his actions did not make sense. He made Akk take him to the classroom and started looking under the desks. Ayan is not stupid. He knows that if someone has stolen his notebook, they will not keep it under their desk.
1. Our suspicious guy, Namo, has been strangely missing from the action. I wonder what is he up to. I hope that his character is not there just to confuse us. He has potential to be important.
2. What was Sani doing roaming with a flashlight? At first I thought that it might be her duty to check the rooms, but Chadok was surprised to see that she is still in the school. Furthermore, checking the building is usually the duty of security guards. I think that she is indeed investigating. She has been concerned with the curse since episode one. The fact that when Wat said that Akk can be weak-minded, she asked if he could be influenced by Chadok suggests that she might be suspecting Akk.
3. I think that Ayan did not actually think that Akk took his notebook. He knows that Akk was behind him during the training, so his questions such as "How did you open my locker?" do not make sense. He either thinks that someone else helped Akk steal the notebook or he made Akk help him sneak into the school for a different reason.
I have no idea how my guy Akk has been handling a whole curse masterplan when he cannot even handle a crush. He went from trying to make Ayan sleep on the floor to kissing him and hugging him back to sleep in the span of an hour. Bro is pure confusion.
It makes sense for him to do crazy shit cause he's brainwashed in da cult life. It didn't occur to me it was a…
I did not explain myself well the first time. I am sorry. :) Yes, this is why I see Mes as a potential rolemodel. There is something else, though. Akk told Ayan that he was looked down on by other students for being from the countryside. This must have been a heavy blow to his self-esteem to be the butt of snobbish rick kids' jokes. Becoming a student prefect, and especially the president of the Prefect Club, means something important: Akk will be above these snobs. He can order them around. This is a powerful motivator – an "I will show them now" moment.
I think by putting himself first he meant when it comes to the disappointment and what Akk really wants. Akk has…
A scholarship can be really important. This is the most solid of his motivations, which I have no questions about. He is smart and ambitious. I am sure that he wants to go to a great university because this will secure his future. This is what makes him such a relatable character. He has a difficult decision to make. Many would make the same decision in his place.

I am posting part of my message to you here: I do not know if you have noticed, but it is a common trope that a character who has turned bad had a tragic romance. The classical "He became a bad boy because that one girl broke his heart." No, Brian, you did not become a fuckboy because Marissa rejected you. This is why I am wary of characters' motivations being explained with romance. What I mean is that if the scriptwriters decide to make it look like Akk joined the cult because he was in love with Mes, it will probably be a cliché, and I will not sympathize with him. Ayan is a great instance of a character who has overcome the "tragic past" trope and become a good person despite the suicide of his beloved uncle. Imagine how the plot would have turned out if Ayan and Dika had been boyfriends, and heartbroken villain Ayan was on a crusade to avenge the love of his life. This would have been a soap opera! xD
I actually thought of you and all your theories when it was confirmed that it was actually Akk😀. But I feel…
I did not expect that my theories will be confirmed. I was pleasantly surprised. :) It is so nice that you thought of me. I also thought of you and all the other sweet people that we are having theoretical discussions with every week. :) I find Akk selfish. He does not seem to be someone who derives pleasure from hurting others, but he does seem like someone who will go to lengths to do what will benefit him. He wants to have a spotless reputation as a prefect and get a scholarship, and he does not hesitate to prioritize this over the lives of other people. This is morally wrong, but it makes his character human. I agree with you about the car scene. I suspect that he was not alone. In the scene with the cultish ring of candles, it was not just Mes, Chadok, and him, but also other prefects. I think that there are other brainwashed prefects, who are helping him.
I liked the scene in which Akk used his position as a student prefect to get Ayan into the school at night. The conspiratorial smiles that they shared made my heart flutter. Like @BriBri, who commented further below, I adore enemies to lovers. What I adore even more is enemies to lovers, who are partners in crime. ;)

Yes, having a crush on more than one person in your life is more realistic, but I am a little tired of series in which every important person from the main character's past is tied to him through romance. :)

I am afraid that I will have to disagree with you on this one. Akk understands what he is doing. He is brainwashed to believe that he is doing it for the greater good, but he knows what he is doing. He is smart enough for that.

Yes, you are right. This is the danger of getting involved in a cult. You become isolated from your life outside the cult. One thing that I do not understand is why everyone is so convinced that Akk had a crush on Mes. I feel like I am watching a different series. When he was accepting the position of student prefect from Mes, I saw admiration and giddiness in his eyes. He admires Mes and feels honored to be taking over his position. I am not trying to disprove anyone's opinion, but I wonder why everything has to be about romantic attraction. Someone even mentioned that Sani and Wat's relationship is weird. If you think of it as a romantic one, of course, it is weird. But it is not romantic.
