yeah and you also sounds robotic lol it's like you are saying your enjoyment is a final say to the whole world. She finished her first revenge on 30s eps, yes. but they build not only her character but also the other characters for the entire 30 eps, minglan did something that makes her stand out in early eps in her childhood, that (1) she excels at sport and (2) eventhough she's still a little girl she managed to bring a physician to her mother. She also showed her smart and critical thinking in class and to prevent further domestic intrigues on her house when she started to do accounting. She ridiculed zhu manniang in order to defend her friend from a nightmare marriage. That all happens before eps 30! I bet you skip the drama because it's just not your genre. 73s eps is so long, and it's common for c dramas to have those long ass eps, it does make scenes more realistic as it doesnt jump from scene to scene too fast. Also it doesnt have to show Minglan's smartness in every eps of the drama lol there are other stories to develop such as her romance, her friendship, the politics, the male lead own development. Not gonna stuff you words anymore because apparently you'd just wouldnt accept everyone's perspective if you disagree lol. But whoever read this pls just consider to give the drama a try especially if you dont mind long eps

wow me being a big fan of minglan reading this: ..... it might be unrealistically slow For you but for me who likes slice-of-life genre it was amazing. yes all the harem issues could be unrealistic compared to modern problem, but also quite refreshing for me because i usually watch slice of life modern dramas and now i got to see my first slice of life historical ever. as for minglan.. Minglan couldnt do martial arts but she's indeed smart at scheming. Anyway do I sound like a robot? I dont care, I dont blindly like zhao liying. I've watched three of her dramas (Story of minglan, princess agent, rookie agent rouge) and couldn't finish the other two dramas (princess agent and rookie agent rouge). Come here because i want to give princess agent a second try. Ended up giving my thoughts of Story of Minglan :))
