So I really love slice-of-life and I tried to watch this drama but lately I've been watching too many slice-of-life dramas where the FL was in the bottom of the class (poor grades), like reply 1988, lovely us, a river runs through it, reply 1997, go ahead etc etc. I found it a bit boring 😅 to watch this type of FL again. Can you recommend me slice of life where the FL is smart?

Agree with you i was very mad back then when it's revealed that it all was just a play. And the ex empress didnt even die 😑 but I think it's just that gu tingye never stepped over minglan's borderline (like every couple has their own borderline right?) because it looked like she didnt mind at all since the "play" was supposed to be very confidential
