Unfortunatelly, I have this weird habit to watch dramas from the beginning. And if after the first 4 episodes, meaning more than FOUR HOURS of watching, I am not sold on it and more or less just wish to turn it off, then it sadly discourages me from viewing further. So I drop the drama before I even reach the good part.

Never mind, reading that you praise the opening theme music, which sounds like brass-band to me, or that "BGM music really gave this series its essence".... You mean that commercial music label? I'm bored like after 5 episodes, let alone 150.
Okay, I've been force feeding myself this for long enough. I tried and tried, paused many times, always catching myself thinking something else, looking somewhere else than the screen. Maybe I just did not wish to seem shallow, to give up on a drama because the lead guy is ugly? But I eventually gave up somewhere during episode 4. Dropped.
Okay, 1st episode not promising. Good 80% of the runtime filled with like b-grade daily (100+ eps) k-soap. Cast mostly secondary role level. There are male, presumably romance "leads", who have like haircuts where I was like ARE THEY ****ING KIDDING. No thanx.

You do know that there is 1080p WEB-DL for this, right. Of course that's bit upscaled but it comes from solid picture quality from original DVD source. So it looks really good. And that goes for pretty much all these shows you mention. Only you need to "search" bit further than first "watch online" site that pops on Google, lol (if you're REALLY interested, I can send you a magnet link). Else you can just say you too lazy but not too lazy to write a comment about it lol. Else I'm glad you say positive things about this drama, as I do watch it in perfect quality, I am amazed at Takuya Kimura's hair at that time, I am content with acting skills that he had at 24, but I am still in episode 4, it's going a bit slow for me. I still need to reach that point from which on I'll start binging it. From your comment, I get the hope that it will come. Thx.

Well, if you wish to watch noona romance which gets HOT, you need to watch the original. Though it went on in early episodes only. Then they DID put it on back burner. I didn't like that she dated other guy till literally last minute, and this remake repeats the same number of episodes with the same runtime, following the same pattern like a carbon copy. They did not attempt to improve this.
I'm 2 episodes in and seriously, so far it looks like the super cute lead girl (the dyed, curly hair is helping her quite a bit) is practically stalked by the lead guy, who is not even that attractive (there are 3 main guys in this drama and both the other two are cuter than him, plus of course he's got the k-drama mandatory, trademark moron haircut, and female looking makeup, very white foundation, pink lips). He also looks like he's already in his thirties, with deep lines around his mouth (yeah, the laugh lines... his life must have been SO funny). And besides him she is surrounded by such agressive sunbaes and situations that I would honestly understand if the girl took another year off school. I would. Let them all graduate first. Even the female teacher who's acting like she's suffering of some kind of mental illness (she's perhaps supposed to be funny, perhaps scary, she's neither) would convince me to better try next time/elswhere.
Their contract is ridiculous, but if she's supposed to be "his woman" for 1 month only, then I guess anything goes. It's obviously all just to satisfy the target audience fantasy and her to get "unwillingly" kissed by the HOT guy despite her looking like a child in her uniform and the height diff is killing them at that 1st kiss lol But after the first 10 episodes are out of the way things get HOT! So much kissing. Is this because it's china not korea or japan? Luckilly the bed scene was super flash and cut short due the crazy runtime, else I don't know what I'd pop watching LOL But then it quickly spins into traditional separation - third party involved drama. Though I admit the editing is frantic but does leave just the essential part so nothing is actually missing in compare to regular drama it's a great TIME SAVER lol
In the end it DOES look like she just acts this way to seem original and trap the rich guy:-) He buys the orphanage and can evict the poor children any time he please so she says to the orphanage director don't worry I am here I will not let him succeed. Yeah, like she has any real weapons to fight him ELSE than to become his woman as he asked... So she cancels the date she has with another guy and goes to him to tell him that she agrees to be his. After which she gets unconscious after ONE glass of wine (classic) and he the attractive rich guy is supposed to be all over her despite her A BIT average looks exactly like another 11000000000 identically looking girls. Wow.
It's all nonsense, all she needed to do after that 1st night is to NOT contact him. Even if he "searched" for her it would be like finding a needle in a haystack. No, she marches right into his office, then his subordinate is hired to find her info, lol.
Also, poor orphan girl repeatedly gives him money when it is obvious that money he does have. She gives all money she has to survive till next month to him, while he is planning to buy her whole orphanage. What's even more is when she wakes up with him in a hotel room, her way to save face is to leave some money like he was a gigolo... That's like, the FIRST thing girl has on her mind... "I need to conpensate him somehow." ... LMAO
