It's not really 32 episodes. K-Dramas are usually 16 episodes long, being about an hour long. But for some reason…
Yeah, one way or another, it's SIXTEEN HOURS. Imagine watching that long movie. Therefore, dramas need a bit of life, a bit of spark REGULARLY injected into them. Often humor is used, some funny characters, running-gags, kiss/or fight here and there, to keep it going. To keep it going with repeated flashbacks and long stares is obviously problematic, as this review confirms:-) That is not surprising considering that even the best k-dramas do drag and valid critique of 99% of them is "It COULD be shorter." lol. I never binge watch because I want to spare my brain from REPEATING the same over and over which - more or less guised - every drama does. Instead, I take some time off it, watch other stuff and then return to it, like I'd visit the same person after TAKING SOME DAYS OFF.;-)
My first time to watch this male lead and am surprised I have not seen any of his dramas. He is HOT!!! Joe Chen…
He is not THAT hot. He's got that haircut that's not cute at all, the secondary guy is a cutie in compare (his haircut is ridiculous too, but we're in china:) As for Joe Chen (Joe? Really?:-D) she does not look THAT special for the ML to inexplicably tolerate her outrageous (for that period) and idiotic behavior. She's got round face and round eyes and often pouts like a toddler. Her front hairline looks stupid, too btw.
"1) one of them loses complete interest in the lead female and goes back to the second lead female he ditched long ago for unexplained reasons, 2) one of them grows to like the lead female yet takes care of the second lead female to an unreasonable extent, 3) one of them likes the lead female genuinely but, of course, the plot won't allow them to even meet and talk properly, 4) and the last one of them leaves the *knight* title ever so quickly and branches out to his own super cliche sub plot....."
I'm confused. Who is the endgame couple here? Or is there NONE? Then MDL has to erase "Romance" from the Genres.
Means the deleted scenes did not get dubbed? Way to go! Next time, leave MOST of the drama "unrealeased", and…
And that's not all! The 1st DELETED scene is a SUPER ROMANTIC & HOT scene of them kissing! I mean if not for such scene, then why do we bother to watch the drama in the first place! Second scene is super romantic and the third is a kiss scene/makeout/bed scene! We really need to start an organization that will collect the raw material in China and release it to the world! Before their middle-aged voice actors do their dubbing and their cutting scissors do their deleting!!
I'm on episode 6 & OMG at the 2nd FL & her I've been in Paris for a year hairstyle. It is laughable, I hope the…
Ha ha, I bet you mean episode 6, I am watching it now... She arrives at the airport wearing that thing on her head and I wondered how many children she let play with curling iron, lol... Oh, now I read your comment again, you WERE on epi 6 writing it:-D You definitely mean the same "big head" curls, lol. I don't think there was an era this WAS fashionable ever... perhaps except on children's dolls? It's that stage where you curl all your hair into those obviously fake tight curls but never actually wear it outdoors that way, lol. Instead, she has it pulled all up with back-combed roots, and decorated with girly hairclips. SO "cute". lmao
Okay, so girl who is pretty and ordinary type dates a pedantic guy who has matter-of-factly chosen her at a workplace, because he'd figured that "she'll do", because she seems "resilient", and he'd get more chances to be assigned abroad if he's married. That's what he openly tells her. He's actually not that much of a looker, still perhaps for lack of other options he seems to be surrounded by flocking females considering him A+ male. Girl actually learned the lesson already, that guy with many female fans is never good. Still, she starts dating him. She sleeps with him before he properly tells her that he loves her, nevertheless he turns out to be decent boyfriend until he IS transfered abroad. I expected the girl to close - perhaps after a few tears, but close - this as a boring chapter of her early life, instead they sort of get engaged and keep the long distance thing. And it's 1/2 movie still ahead. Somehow, I hoped that homegirl might meet someone better....
Second half: Something EXTREMELY boring which had no point or I didn't care to get to it, starting to wish that she'd have wild sex with the other guy or something. Then I could at least bash this movie for being "weird japanese movie". But no. When the other guy took her TO CHURCH, I decided I'll better go to sleep. After I had my nap, I did not bother to finish this, I just closed this with 28 minutes still on the runtime. I'm not even rating this, or complaining. No, that's not anymore how I do things. I decided to part with the movie before I'll learn its whatever conclusion. I think that suits it best.
He is oddly attractive. Truly remarkable face. Just enlarge his MDL profile pic and start analyzing his features. You'll laugh. But somehow, he IS hot:-)
I'm watching 2009 'Cinderella Man' and suddenly there is an obnoxious minor character with incredible curly hair. But somehow, I don't dislike him! I check the cast and I find out yes, that's the lead from 'Mad For Each Other'! When he was 28:-) lol
