Yeah, perhaps it's actually more fun to read manga, than it is to watch dramas nowadays. Because, I haven't read this manga, but this drama, I'm ast episode 5/10 and the two people are married and confessed their love and I watched their bedscene and I reaaaaally don't give a rat's a**.
"male haircut" "normal hair" wow really explains your regressive mentality
Yeah I have no problem with my "regressive mentality", I'm proud of that. You all young, clean, gender neutral kids with the mentality that is progressing to things like calling the newborn babies "it" instead of he or she, then let the child decide on their own, whether they FEEL like male or female (which can apparently change each morning, or even several times a day) just have to bear with me a bit more till I die.
She's too old for him. I remember her from yeaaars back. I think she was one of the reasons I found watching Gokusen so tedious. She's just no joy to watch. And that was when she was young and still looked her best.
Enjoyable melodrama. I'm not usuallly into this genre, but I did enjoy this, perhaps because it was so simple. We went every step with the characters. Who were 2 people, it was pretty focused. No extras. Both the leads were likeable both visually and as people. This could go way more dramatic, even tragic. It could also offer more confrontation & conversation (for example about his role in the death of her parents). But perhaps it is a good thing that the screentime did not bulge to suffocate you and that for once we were able to enjoy a happy ending in a korean melo. 9.5*
So you’ve been watching for two months and you’re 4 episodes in😭 is this your normal pace or is it boring?
Well, I always watch bundle of shows, which I rotate. Each time it's given show's turn, I watch it as long as I please. Be it several episodes at once, or just 1 minute:-) So, you can guess yourself how boring this one was. At least for me... I am old. I have seen too much:-D
This drama is actually great at the main plot, which is work life balance is important. Even till now, a lot of…
"My senior said working 8hrs per day should be enough to finish ur job. If u can't finish ur job within that period of time, then something wrong with your style of work. "
Yeah, I noticed that the work EFFICIENCY might be actually be the prob in Japan:-) Then they need to stay at work till it's dark. Then they go to a MANDATORY drinking party where the company tries to patch up their deals with the other party (also drunk) they do bussiness with, else it would all fall apart. Nice. As long as it works for them, LOL. So that we can watch all the erotic dramas where they all go to love hotels as that's actually more available (they usually commute 1 hour or longer to/fro work in Tokyo) and cheaper than taxi home after the last train leaves;-)
But this seems not to be the case, thank you for pointing out that the romance line was bland. I dropped the drama so now I know I did good (while I do appreciate serious themes, I am more into fun & hot stuff:-)
I don't see the need for them to have any stupid contract, unless they are legally married. Which itself serves as enough contract, then. So, either way there is no need for the stupid contract they have.
Okay, Beautiful Gong Shim has terrible hair. That's usually the male's treat in k-dramas! Can you imagine how many times I secretly wished while watching anywhich k-drama that someone mentioned that the MALE characters in there had horrible haircut, right in the dialogue? Here, it's the male telling it to the female. It's only 2 episodes in yet there's multiple times FL is mocked for her hairstyle despite the fact that all the MALES around wear haircuts which are TRULY terrible: but sadly standard in Korea (Korea "rules" the world in this) while hers are only a wig and she can simply take it off. Besides the ML she meets another guy who is surrounded by women telling him that he is handsome like every 2 seconds so naturally he's got character that's very humble and he's the one who still says that she's cute even while with the wig to the main heroine. The two guys are friends despite not having like anything in common and giving the impression that they would not even greet each other but they so obviously are going to be rivals for the girl that they need to be friends for it to be a drama.
I am 45 and EVERYTHING bores me. But not for ANY reason explained - or attempted to explain - in this "arcticle", which you are supposed to read as asian drama viewer so the author probably expects you to be born here on MDL or smth, so "thank you" for advice like, do watch stuff from other countries, too... Like wow, that would never occur to us, thanks for pointing that out. And if there is a genre I really DON'T miss, then it's thriller/horror, LOL. I don't really agree with anything on this page, except perhaps with the commenter Pinky. Looks like you really need more qualifications for writing main page articles, than inserting pictures & pastel colours. Then again, if that page is MDL.....:-D
Yuki, riding a merry-go-round horsie: "Isn't this a little embarrassing?" Well yeah, but what can you expect? It's asian drama, ever since I started watching those I wondered why asians always need to visit amusement park for it to be romantic date... We only go there if we are or have kids with us, LOL
They're hot couple. Look totally stunning together. Visual art. Since more than half of the movie, I kept wondering, WHERE is the sister, lol. She does not appear until the last 30 mins of the movie. Else, this movie was convincing, above standard. I did believe the guy really fell for the older sister. I believed it was the first true love for her, too (did it have to happen to me now, in this age?). I also understood when she tried to tell him that even if she loved him back, that love was only the 3rd place love in her life. Her son was the 1st. Her sister was second. And that if he did anything to hurt number 1 & 2, she'd hate him... Heartbreaking. The ending was like done by some other writer, lol.
This has 156 episodes. I only watched 5 of them, so far I have zero opinion. When you first watched this, since when you were firm that you started liking it? Around 15? Or 50 episodes in?
In first 3 minutes, in fact:-D

And the 45-year old voice actress fits her great! Yay, go c-dramas:-)
