also am I the only one who would have really loved to see the twins actually grow up together? I feel like it would have been a really interesting dynamic, esp in a historical fiction
Am I the only one who feels like the energy between the FL and ML is unbalanced? I was impressed with our FL, and excited to see the interactions with the ML. The story had a firm grasp on me right until we saw more of the ML in adult form. For this type of premise, his character is far too comical and naive to be a love interest to the FL that we have. He would have made a better friend (in fact, his character would have made a really wholesome friend) or ally, not a romantic prospect. It kind of ruins the intrigue and you're kind of left with clichés that you're already too used to in kdramas. Nonetheless, the series is still ongoing so I will try and keep watching, see if I change my mind. Also the second love interest is kind of an unnecessary addition to the story, I can already see where this will go...
Looking forward for some awesome bromance ^^. Both ML are great visuals too
Heya, sorry to bother you but would you mind clearing something up for me? I heard that unlike the other BL dramas people are expecting such as Immortality, Eternal Faith etc, this drama isn't actually BL? You see, I like romance a lot which obviously includes BL but have never been that much of a fan of bromances since a lot of them fall into the queerbaity/heternormative category. I heard that this drama was solely bromance as apparently the author herself had said it was not BL, even though she does indeed write other stuff that is BL (making her intentions pretty clear on this one). This drama is the only one that also doesn't have the tag "censored adaption of same-sex original work". Is that true then? Cause then that means I'll have to keep waiting for the other ones to air :/
I'm pretty sure Yoon Oh imagined the kiss, because it looked like a dream sequence. When he started singing Peach…
I see what you mean. I also quite like when it's nuanced to be honest, but maybe it's because of peach of time 's supernatural elements that the choppy cuts made it more difficult to interpret/flawed I was actually thinking that maybe I'm being too harsh as well haha. Because I feel like, had it already been completed, I would excuse this kind of thing since you can rely on later episodes to understand or make conclusions of previous ones but since it's still airing I'm being more critical because it feels more disjointed and uncertain.
can someone please explain to me why the romance is so choppy? We really ended last episode with a kiss that genuinely came out of nowhere and now in this new ep then there is no mention or explanation for it whatsoever. I feel like if they had just left their relationship ambiguous until now then I would just assume they were always a couple even before the series but just didn't outright say it to everyone else (esspecially the mother) given the conservative nature of korean society. But since in another episode (the scene where Yoon-oh tries to leave the resort), they make a clear point about how it's the "power of friendship" that gets him out, I was hoping that the romance would build properly til we see at least the characters realize that what they feel toward one another is romantic. Now I'm completely lost when it comes to their relationship status since the series keeps on jumping steps.

amazing deductions :) maybe it's because I associate Tommy's face to his WHY R U character but the thought of him being an antagonist didn't really cross my mind but now that you mentioned it, it would be such an interesting plot twist. Looking forward to seeing how the story turns out
Can someone recommend me a good historical drama? I've just finished Yanxi Palace and Immortality still hasn't aired so any recs would be appreciated :)
It has a love triangle for one volume of the three volumes and it's very fundamental to the whole story. It's…
Crazy haha I would have easily guessed that you would have been into cdramas for a much longer time, the way you explain things sounds so mature and thought out :) Thank you for all the recommendations! I'll check some out, especially the wuxias as I tend to be quite drawn to them. I'll have a look at your reviews as well <3 (I also noticed you like tragic stuff huh, particular reason?)

You are a darling, thank you so much for answering all of my questions!! I really appreciate it :) Everything you said is really helpful and intriguing, you've made me very eager for this and I'm considering reading the novel whilst waiting for it to air, especially since you said it would help. All your points had me so invested xD I had no idea The Untamed was so low budget tho, I knew about WoH but had assumed otherwise for TU, I'm happy to hear that thanks to its success we now get series like Immortality hihi. As for the transmigration, I had no idea wow, but I still look forward to seeing how the character in question reacts to the dream/premonition (I love those kinds of things). It's very sweet of you to have warned me about the triggers even though I probably won't mind those even if they're quite extreme, still wanted to thank you :> Oh also, out of curiosity, since you seem quite knowledgeable about cdramas in general, what are your favourite shows? You seem like a lovely person, if you wouldn't mind, I'd love to get to know you better. Okie I'll stop ranting now <3
