Looks like the story has two writers, female and male. Chapter 27 and 28 looks like male writer. I realy dont…
What's most romantic than two couples standing by each other? I understand what you mean though, but historical dramas even with a romantic tag are usually more focused on historical matters (xd). On my side, I can't really dislike the Lord that much because he actually cares for the well-being and peace of his region, and I've seen far worse in other series. Also, the sequence of action he took in today's episodes might not be right but made sense. However, as a father, he is indeed a failure. I don't see how the story would make you differentiate the screenwriters by their gender, however, both of them, 丁璐 and 纪桑柔, are females.
does ml have other concubines or something?huhu im not really used to those things although ik it is normal back…
In the first episodes, FL becomes ML's concubine and they love and respect each other a lot. ML promised FL he won't marry anyone else and would soon make FL the official wife. However, he was then forced by his father, the lord, to marry the princess of Jichuan and ofc make her his official wife. Her name is Yuan Ying, but you don't have to worry about her since ML made things clear to her from the very beginning, and actually she married him also without her consent, so she wants to leave. The dynamic between her, FL, and ML is great, they're a small team working together until Yuan Ying gets to leave. Yuan Ying is strict and charming sunshine, I think we all have grown to like her a lot
After witnessing Li Wei's progressive character growth after 26 episodes, I can say that the more I look at her, the more fitting I find her to be the future Madam of Lord Yin Zheng. However, Cdramas usually make couples drop their royal titles and responsibilities, and go to the countryside to spend a peaceful life. Hope this one will make something different.
Good this is fiction because seeing the previews of next episodes our FL wouldn’t live long with her attitude…
I didn't know what you were referring to, so I watched the 25th episode preview... Li Wei actually hit that vicious prince, not that he doesn't deserve it but LW's nerve is too big for ancient times 😅
Don't worry. In the last scene of the ep 24 trailer, you can see that the characters the 6th prince writes is…
Thank U so much for sharing that detail with me, I would've missed it otherwise. Some innovative writing there, right? hahaha I did know there was no way for him to divorce her. I just felt a little disappointed with LW's decision process. However, her heartbreaking face when she saw him writing 休, it's kinda enough to appease me. I just hope that in the future, she stops suggesting leaving as the solution.
Not gonna lie, LW asking YZ to write a letter of repudiation doesn't sit right with me. It's just right for her to feel the urgency to help her friend, but after everything YZ has done for her, she shouldn't just drop him like that T_T I know he'll surely help her, but I don't know how he can fix this situation, Hao Jia is the PREGNANT concubine of the first legitimate prince. Like even if LW and HJ escape, how easy would be for that vicious prince to catch them and kill them for such a big offense... This matter needs time to be resolved, and LW needs to understand that.
I couldn't remember where saw ML before, but of course he had a lead part in Reset which was just superb drama.
This is the third drama that I'm watching with him as ML, and he hasn't made ever disappointed, he's an amazing and talented actor who usually picks great shows.
Up to episode 5 and I just want to praise this drama so much, it has been such a relaxing, happy and lovely watch for me. I love how even being a historical drama, this has such slice-of-life vibes, it's funny, interesting, relatable, delightful, and deep, hope it continues like this.
