I'm curious. Why liu xie choose jin feng than bai yu to be queen?
I think it's because he promised Jinfeng's mother to marry FL to ML (and he cares a lot for his wife's feelings). So, from the very beginning, she was the one meant to marry him. I don't think he really got that much benefit from making her the queen, she usually antagonizes him. He was just trying to fulfill the promise he did as a dad, and it also turned out well for him, since his wife came back. Also, he seems to actually care about Jinfeng too.
I've been binge-watching this for some days already (I'll have to pay the bigger price at my college for it, but it's fine), and I find it completely hilarious. I had some really good laughs with this, FL is cute, charming, and funny and ML is super attractive, nice, and funny too. Looking forward to the next episodes, and Yun Zhang and Jifeng's bigger relationship development.
Man, this is absolutely amazing. It's been really long since I was this engaged in a modern drama; Yan Po Yue is such a fascinating character, I love that he is not perfect, that he has a BIG big ego, and that he's got to work really hard to get what he wants, and episode 8th, GOD, it was so wholesome and heart-wrenching.
My heart really aches every time I remember them. When I watch some clips it just gets worse, it really hurts to see so much longing, love, and pain in ZSC's and SY's eyes
Well, I finally got the time to give this drama a try. I've heard great things about this drama, so I hope I won't get disappointed. Some years ago when I watched Love O2O, YY was already shooting this drama. Looking forward to his breakthrough performance here :3
No this is much lower :) It was at 5.8 when the drama ended, not sure now. ADOS is at 8.5.
I mean ADOS has such a high rating, of course, because people liked it, but also because Douban wiped out a bunch of haters that rated dramas on their platforms.
I just wanted to say that this drama feels kinda relaxing, easy to follow, it's not too complicated, and the color palette, the setting, and the soothing music just feels right
Part 2 episodes writing is really bad.Characters and their choice are not matching at all.How ML became lord of…
I thought the pacing was super fast lol. About Chang Yi, the pain of Yun He's "treason" made him grow, mature, and understand a lot of stuff. As he said, he kind of knew she didn't betray him, because he believes in her, but he just wanted to hear her explanation and know for sure that everything they went through was real. However, Yun He's personality wouldn't give him that pleasure since she was so sick. Thankfully, they both understood and recognized their mistakes in the end.
All our favorite characters die?!? Luo luo, and Li Shu. But already qingyao doesn't turn out psycho like I was…
The comment about Qing Yao, LOL, I loved it. I was also wondering if she would turn out to be a psycho, especially since I've seen the actress that was playing her take this kind of role already. Glad that it wasn't the case!
Episode 19th, and I love it! I like that the lead roles are somehow inverse when you compare it with other dramas, Chang Yi starts as naive to mature and grow through experience and pain, and Yun He is just amazing, I find her character pretty charming. Each episode has been pretty exciting, the pacing is pretty fast (which I kinda like), I can see a lot of character growth, and I find the overall story interesting.
