After watching some of the previews, I have to say that this drama's pacing is remarkably impressive. I'm enjoying this so much, hope they keep this up until the ending.

There are some troubles with the international copyrights of this drama, so any official platform has given subs to this drama yet. The subs you're watching with are probably fansubbed by some very dedicated fans who do it for free, and since that's the case they don't have any particular schedule to update. But don't worry, I guess they'll update soon.

I dropped this drama some years ago for some dumb reasons, but after watching Xu Kai and Bai Lu's performance in various dramas and their chemistry in The Legends, I'm here for a second round.
- The story is engaging but complicated at the same time. Especially in the second half, you feel that there's too much happening and much stuff to resolve. My only complaint is it was a little too bloody for me.
- I liked some of the messages this story has left me, specifically about power struggle and staying true to yourself and your beliefs.
- I started watching this drama because Xu Kai and Bai Lu are some of my favorite actors. So as expected, I loved their performance here: they expressed their feelings in such a beautiful yet heartbreaking way, and as everyone said, their chemistry was on fire. And, of course, their visuals did not disappoint.
- I have to complain about the styling, especially Bai Lu's. In the beginning, she looks absolutely gorgeous in her demoness attire. After that, they presented such an abrupt change of style that, in my opinion, doesn't suit her character. Xu Kai's clothing and styling loved it.
- The leads were supposed to be some of the most mighty people on earth, but they were conveniently injured almost all the time when they had to fight with their enemies, so they couldn't win. This is one of the only aspects that truly bothered me a lot.
- Like most people in this comment section have stated, the editing in the ending is a mess. I watched this drama on iQiyi, and in episode 50th, everything started to get so confusing and nonsensical that I had to check prior episodes to see if I missed something. In fact, it's like they filmed the ending, and the editors mixed all the scenes up. Thankfully, I found APrincessofMars's fixed version of the final episodes (ep 50-55), and everything was really well put together, otherwise, I wouldn't have enjoyed the ending as much as I did.
In conclusion, the Legends is a great drama with an extraordinary story and cast but with considerable flaws in the editing and CGI.
If you want to watch this drama, I highly suggest you watch it with APrincessofMars's fixed versions from episodes 1 to 35 (you can find it in the recent discussion section of this page). After that, you can continue watching iQiyi or Viki versions until the 49th episode and finally end with the fixed versions for episodes 50 to 55.
