Personally, I just read about half of the novel, and the marriage thingy was so much worse. The engagement got canceled for that accident with Tong Jiaren and the pregnant woman and then ZSC changed Shi Yi's nationality and got their married papers in RUSSIA. Like WHAT, the circumstances they were in did require him to do so, but he should have at least ASKED her.

I think it's a plot hole. It doesn't make sense to me that in OaO when the little emperor was crown, he wouldn't clean ZSC's name. Why? 1) His life was saved with ZSC's life 2) The Xiao Nanchen army was taking care of him while Guanling Prince was emperor. Ofc, they would prepare him somehow (And form some kind of attachment to them) 3) The very fact that this little emperor was alive already proved that everything that Guanling Prince said was fake 4) The little kid appreciated ZSC and Shiyi

It hurts my heart a lot that he's known for being a traitor T_T
But if One and Only got released in the FaE universe, that means that many people know the true story and that instead of a traitor, he was a man with really beautiful bones.
