I just got little confuse .....did FL know about the past?cause in some scene she is about to cry or crying like…
In China there's censorship to reincarnation stories, so the drama can only implicate that Shiyi has some sort of connection with her past life through the scenes that you're mentioning. In the drama, I would say that she doesn't remember it clearly but she does have some blurry memories and especially the feelings of her past life are still there (the reason why she falls and trusts in ZSC so much)
I rlly want to watch forever and ever but they all say u schould watch this one first. and before i rlly wanted…
I mean the ending itself it's unfair enough for both of them. The didn't get what they deseved, but don't worry there are really beautiful and cheerful moments too.

I think you should watch it first, there are a lot of references to One and Only in Forever and Ever. Plus, I’ve always said that if one watches OaO first, you’ll appreciate and enjoy even more FaE. All the happiness they get in this lifetime will be more cherished after you’ve gone through the pain and unfairness in OaO. OaO It’s an outstanding drama, the plot, the acting, the costumes, the chemistry… everything is on point. Give it a shot, if it’s not your cup of tea… well, Forever and Ever is there. I don’t use to watch sad endings dramas, because my heart can’t bear it (I even have shamelessly dropped a few ones for that reason) but OaO is a great exception that I don’t regret at all. I started episode 1, knowing exactly what the ending was gonna be, and GOD I loved it.
I screen recorded the whole video as I didn’t see an option to download it. Maybe, we can find a way for me to send it to you, don’t know it that may help
You've made a very valid point in this. They did write this into O&O on the ep 23 where her mum explained to her…
From my perspective, Shiyi took the decision to jump off the city wall no because ZSC wasn’t anymore there, but because of the fact that she’ll have to marry the person who killed the people she loved and cherished the most. The only way out, from her perspective, was finishing her life, if she has escaped the whole Cui family and the close friends she had left will be implicated and probably killed too.
I love the couple but none of the supporting characters except maybe Uncle Lin are resonating with me as much…
That’s actually true, I guess the reason lies that in OaO they gave more spotlight than FaE to supporting characters. In OaO, I was fond of the whole Xiao Nanchen House, the former emperor, Shiyi’s mom… Here I found of the leads (ofc) and Uncle Lin
Is it only me that i never felt its slow??? Evry eps are worth it for me..hehe:D
Same sis, hahaha I mean in an ordinary modern drama the leads get together like in the middle in the drama or even when there are a few episodes before the end… no way that this is slow for me
I don’t know why but I think that it was Wenchaun the one who took the ring, I don’t believe that Tong Jiaren is that kind of person. Tbh, what fault does she have? She just fell in love with ZSC and there’s nothing wrong with that. The only bad person here it’s the younger brother, trying to harm ZSC and Shiyi 😒
Let's see how badly my "Postdrama" effect goes, to be honest, OaO and FaE have hit me pretty hard like no drama has before xd. Thank you for the feedback, I'll have it in account to don't get too much disappointment.
Most of us are ardent supporters of this drama, and it appears to be a leading drama in China. Just my theoretical…
I would be here no matter what, I did (still do) have plans to watch OOL. But Forever and Ever became my most anticited drama when I ended One and Only. If both would have broacasted at the same time, I'd be the same (focus in FaE and OaO). Nevertheless, I do believe that the fact that OOL didn't broacast help FaE received more attention.
Our Mei Xiang was sad in the last 2 episodes! I felt like he was a little cold w/ ZSC me thinks he found out who…
i think that he knows. Afterall, he's ZSC lawyer and it's unlikely that he hasn't gotten to see any of Shi Yi's photos, maybe that's why he got drunk in the latest episode
Oh, I see. I read like half of the novel while I was waiting for Forever and Ever to be released, but I wanted some surprises from the drama so I stopped. Maybe when FaE ends, I'll read what I have left
