they probably filed for 40 episodes but only filmed 36 episodes. A lot of production team does that. So maybe nothing was cut because they never intended to film 40 episodes.
First Five episodes were awsome I absolutely love it.The first thing that caught my attention was the cinematography. I watch it 4K on WeTv ( yes I spend the extra for the 4K 😭😩. WeTv is just a bunch of thieves) anywayyy… the color are absolutely beautiful. I really like the way they did Bai Lu’s makeup. She’s gorgeous and cute . Cheng Lei is handsome as usual 😩😩 with his bath scenes trying to end us 😂😂😂.So far I like they leads , they seem weaks on the surface but they are both scheming and Smart. Both are not that simple. You could see right away that Fl is very protective over him , she doesn’t play about her Mann. You can also see that this is gonna be heavy with a lot of layers. My expectations are met so far.
I’m originally from Eastern Europe and we would call elders that we were not related to aunts and uncles when…
exactly it’s not a big deal especially if it’s was clearly mentioned multiple time that they are not related for real. The amount of real powerful and popular figures out there who married their biological cousin but I don’t see people reacting like that and making at big deal out of it. why they acting like this under the comments section of a fictional drama 😂.

Me too. In my culture, it's very common. I'm Canadian by nationality, but I was born in the Caribbean, and that's where my ethnicity and family roots are as well. My parents are from there, and so is my entire family.
Since we were kids, we've been taught to call elders "auntie" and "uncle." We use the word "tatie," which basically means auntie. It's a sign of respect for our parents' friends and other elders in the community. I still do it even though I'm older now.
The children of those aunties and uncles become like your cousins. My mom has an aunt she's not even related to by blood. She was raised in my mom's family. Whenever she introduces my mom to someone for the first time, she says, "That's my niece." My mom is her niece in every way that matters, even though they have absolutely no blood relation.
The same thing happens with friends. One of my friends had a baby. We're not related, but I'm still that baby's auntie, and that baby is my niece. You don't have to be biologically related for those family titles to have meaning.

I don't know why people are so shocked by that.
