I get it 😩😩😩. I’m getting there too , I don’t really feel any hype about it. I didn’t watch PA and was never interested to. I’m only here for LYR , if it wasn’t for him being the ml , this wouldn’t even be on my list.

I saw somewhere that he initially dubbed himself in some part but he got sick and his schedule also got in the way so he missed the period he could have dubb. not sure if it’s true but if it is , it would explain why so many are confused with his voice. Sometimes it’s sound like him sometimes it’s doesn’t. I was so convinced that was him at first , I was shock when I was told that he was dubbed 😅

Omg 😭🤣 Okay, I’m just going to say it directly: okay, I don’t care about the age, it's more the physical. She’s pretty, but I’m not talking about beauty. I don’t mind the age ( there’s still a limit though)as long as there’s no physical intimacy (no kissing, etc.). I’m not talking about acting skills either. When I say ” a little bit older“ I’m talking about looking more older like more mature ( just a little bit) .Put her side to side with the ML and she looks like a child; they could have played father/daughter, siblings, etc., but lovers? They don’t look like lovers. They should have picked either him or her as the lead 😅. Like I said in my previous comment, she looks like a child. If you take, for example, Melody of Golden Age, there was a huge gap, but the leads still had great chemistry and played characters that suited them. There were like 1 or 2 kiss scenes (the FL was legal at the time of filming, that’s her own choice ). Someone could be 18, 19, 20, 21, or 22 and still look very mature and older, or someone could be 18 and look like they are 12 years old (it's just an example; I’m not saying the FL looks 12). When playing a certain character, I think everything should be taken into consideration, including the physical. There are actors that are 30 but still look 20 and vice-versa (just an example; I’m not saying the ML looks 20). The SML look like a better fit , maybe they should have pick him as ML. 🤷♀️
Ex: Wang Xing Yue , someone correct me if I’m wrong, but when he filmed The Double, I think he was 22 years old. When I watched The Double, if you would have told me he was 22, I wouldn’t have believed it 😅. He suits the role. The female lead was like 8 years older or more than him and it didn’t feel off (for me).
Melody of Golden Age: the FL was 18 or 19 and the ML was 27/28, I think. They still suit the characters; it didn’t feel off (like a father-daughter type of thing).
Key to the Phoenix Heart : with Aimee and HMH. This same situation could happen 😅.

2- I didn’t say she’s to young to play A WOMAN. She looks to young to play this character.
3-Either they should have pick another ML if they absolutely wanted her or another FL if they absolutely wanted LYR. It’s not believable, she look like a child general ( she’s very pretty though), she’s so tiny and still looks like a child. They pick two grown man as her love interests. If she was a little older when this was film. She could literally play the Ml’s daughter 😑😑.
She’s so young and will have so many opportunities later. Being 18 doesn’t mean every character will suit you or being 30 doesn’t mean every character will suit you.
