If she was already cast , couldn’t the production have waited for her to clear the issue in court to start film it and make sure she’s good ? This kind of situation has been happening so many time with other actor , The production couldn’t foreshadow similar situation could happen ?

I 100% agree with your take. I couldn’t bring myself to finish Fated Hearts either; I dropped it at episode 15, tried picking it up again at 24, but finally gave up. I skipped to the last few minutes of the finale just to see. The Princess literally betrays her own kingdom and her brother for a man who didn't even love her, yet they put her on the throne? It’s completely ridiculous and makes no sense for the characters.

The same thing ruined The Princess Royal for me. It started so strong with two powerful leads, but the writing fell apart. Li Rong kept wavering toward the SML (Su Rongqing) until the very end, even after knowing he likely killed her in her past life! They did Pei Wenxuan so dirty,the 'powerful strategist ' ML they sold us was not what we got. The SML had way more power and screen time for no reason, and the show tried so hard to make him look pitiful at the end. It’s exactly what you said: great character buildup at first, only for the writers to forget how to keep them consistent in the second half.

It’s started really well and strong but after the first half, mid twenties till now, it’s a little bit of a let down. For me , the first half can be categorized as one of the best but the other half, not so sure.

The first one is also a sequel 😅. The timeline overlaps with Sword and beloved. It’s happening after Love In pavilion and some of sword and beloved.I don’t know why they release it first , it can be confusing.

I think the industry is becoming over saturated. I was so into Kdrama before but the past few years most of them been a let down.

I’m actually glad they’re sticking to the schedule. As for the leaks, it really sucks for all the people who worked so hard on POJ.
Despite everything, they are still respecting their original timeline, and I truly hope there are consequences for those responsible for the leaks. I know these companies can be greedy, but let’s not forget that there are real people who don't just represent big corporations putting their time and sweat into these dramas. We get to enjoy them from the comfort of our homes; the least we can do is wait a few days and follow the official release schedule to support hard working people.
