poorly written doesn’t equal an easy watch

If you’ve watched transmigration dramas before, you’ll know that this is typically how they end or at least something very similar. I’ve seen several transmigration dramas, and so far, this one has the best ending. Considering China’s censorship restrictions, they did a great job wrapping everything up.

I have a question about the treasury.. I’m rewatching and currently at episode 8.I’m not a very smart girl so if someone on the comment has basic knowledge in economics maybe share your theory.

in episode 8.. XiaHou Dan mentioned that the treasury is empty and that the court has no money. If the court has no money how did they function ? cause technically they still have to pay all the officials and provide for the palace. when they say , the court has no money , do they mean like no money in reserve or the court has no money at all not even to pay everyone’s salaries and all other expenses.

Could it be a translation kind of situation and that not what he actually said. Maybe I’m just thinking to far lol.

I’m very happy with the ending! It doesn’t feel like the other transmigration drama at all. They wrapped it up very well.
