On Na In Woo Apr 27, 2021
Person Na In Woo
The bravest Korean actor I know! Who else would courageously take up a role out of a controversial drama? Only Na In Woo. He went filming just less than 24 hours upon accepting the casting offer, and filmed 20 eps in just one month.
Thank you for saving River Where the Moon Rises. You and Kim So Hyun did a great job in leading the entire drama to phenomenal heights.

Title 18 Again
Can’t believe the screenwriters are all rookies! Even the Director himself only had one full-length drama before this which was the equally brilliant “Go Back Couple”. Makes me very excited for all of your future gems!

this drama is really underrated! i dont understand why the rating is so low...
8.3 is already high considering only 1,288 users as of writing rated this drama. I know a lot of incredibly good dramas that got a lower rating just because few users rated it.

Don’t worry, I’ll try to come back here as soon as it’s out. Viu and Viki did not give any updates about international release yet. :(

Title Moonshine
My favorite type though I wish they would stop focusing on Joseon so much. I’d like to see them do something…
I love River Where the Moon Rises as it is set in Goguryeo. I’m just too fed up with Joseon haha

Title Love Alarm
What I like about this is that it highlights the immaturity and the problematic traits that we have as teenagers. There’s something organic about this series that is worth watching.

Actually i never quite understood why jojo dumped sunho
For me it was two things— at first she wanted to shield herself from feeling abandoned again so she broke up with him than being left alone. Another reason is because she finally succumb to what her relatives think about her: that she’s nothing but a bearer of bad luck to anyone she encounters.

She eventually believed that since Sunho was with her during the accident, then it might be true afterall— that she also caused the financial distress of her Aunt, as well as the death of her parents.

Imagine living a life where everyone relies on a “love alarm” app. Ugggh. What a bad way to live. Thank God we’re not part of that drama.

There was a new director with the old one and the scriptwriters have changed i think
It’s quite confusing, actually. Mydramalist states that the writers for both seasons are the same, but Asianwiki says otherwise. There, season 2 is helmed by 3 new names and I don’t even have any other info about them.

Title Love Alarm Season 2 Spoiler
Because she was not heyyoungs to begin with? Sunoh literally said “she is not an object, let her choose”
Because he liked her too, he got drawn to her the moment he first laid his eyes on her. He kept asking his best friend if he he has feelings for her, which, by the way, was obvious but Sun Oh needed a concrete answer to gauge whether he’d befriend the girl whom he got attracted to or just ignore her. However, Hyeyoung kept denying his feelings, making SunOh decide to go ahead and check on Jojo.
Little did he know, he’d fall in love with her in the process. Not his fault, nor anyone, actually. Jojo and her simply fell in love.

I think Love Alarm is one of the few shows that actually touched on the 3 stages of romantic loves that one can…
I agree

Do you guys know when the first 6 episodes with Na In Woo will release?
None of the international viewers knows at the moment. :( Viu and Viki did not release anything about it too.

How graphic/bloody is this drama? For comparison, I think that Voice and Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo are overly…
Not too graphic in comparison to Moon Lovers. This is a KBS drama after all so they really tried to censor bloody scenes as much as possible.

The FL character made this show almost unwatchable for me.Terrible decisions? Check.Thoughtless actions? Check.Impulsiveness?…
I agree

After all that has happened, it made us all learn that everything truly happens for a reason. IN WOO IS MEANT FOR ON DAL ROLE. His chemistry with So Hyun and the other cast was really remarkable. Hats off to our brave In Woo!

Tell me about it. I was hit with PTSD the next minute I finished the drama. This is just soo haunting.
Oh no. It’s a lingering feeling. I even rewatched it a day after I finished it because the pain was just immense. Best of luck to you as PTSD is real with this drama!
