You ever watched a movie that completely lifts you up & makes you so truly happy that you just never want it to END? This. This is that movie. When the credits started rolling, I was like WHAT?! THAT`S IT? NO, GIVE ME MORE!
I mean, look the acting? BEYOND ANYTHING I`VE SEEN from any j-movies of comedy genre I`ve watched till to this date. It has Suda Masaki after all, of course, how can it be even close to bad? But it was not just him, rather it was everyone here. Please please please, I beg you to not have any second thoughts & watch this movie because you`re not going to regret it a tad bit.
(Believe me, I almost fell from my chair THRICE while watching this & I love myself a good comedy because I`m very critical of that genre, something that will make me ugly laugh, make me snort and this was just the perfect watch for that.)

So, let me say this. At the end of the day, this is still a good drama, a personal favourite of mine considering it has a unique storyline. It`s an amazing compilation of stories from different parts of society that tackle issues we talk about and don`t talk about at the same time. Surely, at least one story will make you shed tears. For someone like me who doesn`t cry much during a show, cried like an idiot during the war veteran, the puppy, & Ryung-gu`s episodes.
Of course, we have to keep in mind that its genre is fantasy and not every problem portrayed in the show can be that easily solvable. I mean, grim reapers are mystical elements so keep in mind that. Some people need to learn to draw a line between fiction/fantasy and realities. This show is the only thing I look forward to every weekend because it comforts me somehow in a certain way. With all the controversies that have blown out of proportion from the recent comfort women episode & the use of BTS members` name, of course, people will downgrade this show to a certain extent considering MBC really messed with a big mass of k-drama consumers so, in the end, all I do feel bad about is the actors who played their parts and the special effect artists.
With that being said, I`ll still watch this show to the end because I`m just too invested in it now, especially after the revelation of Koo-Ryeon`s & Joong-gil`s heartbreaking past (I was waiting for their story for way too long, okay?). I admit I was very distraught last night with all the ignorance of some people & the terrible mishap itself but after a good night`s sleep, I realized that the only reason I watch this show is because I love the actors who play their parts, the different stories that the show highlights including their own. Of course, not everything will be to everyone`s taste or likes so I`ll take that. Opinions matter and I`m not going to throw them away just for my own selfish needs. If people don`t want to watch it anymore, nobody will force you to but this is to the bad apples, don`t ruin this show for the people who were attached to it in some way.
One prop mishap and one topic from a single episode (especially this shouldn`t even be our, as an outsider, a concern AT ALL. it`s between Korea & Japan. Imagine how I would feel if someone poked their two cents into the history of the 200 years of colonization between India & Britain.) will not and should not have the capacity to throw the whole show in the gutter. So if it bothers you, steer clear of it and invest yourself in any content that makes you genuinely happy. Your well-being and happiness comes before anything, be it a show or any media that you consume.

okay, i keep noticing that you kept telling that because you`re european, you`re not familiar with korean names (which is completely okay because i`m myself not korean, i`m indian) so it doesn`t bother you no matter how good this show is (which is also VERY TRUE. this has been my favourite show this year) but you`ve to take it into account that this is a kdrama, a korean show and the ppl who were working on the props or behind the scene are korean too so they knew what they were doing. they`re not like you or me who don`t understand hangul. they know who BTS are. so writing a well-known young person`s name in a homicide list is a horrible thing to do considering it`s very much possible that person can see their name on this kind of list on tv.
imagine if someone well-known from your country or yourself or your family member or someone you look up to had their name written on a homicide list in a show that deals with such sensitive issues when they are all well and alive. there`s thousand other names in any language in the world just like korean. so SPECIFICALLY using these two`s name along with their exact birthdates doesn`t sound very coincidental for me. it sounds pretty intentional considering there`s been a one-sided petty beef between MBC and BTS because the group didn`t attend MBC`s year-end music festival few years back.
and, for your very kind information, NO ONE IS BLAMING THE ACTORS not over here or on any other platform. i`m still gonna watch the show for the actors but the people who`re in the wrong are the ones working behind the scenes. please fact check before blaming armys and this is not even a fandom thing, i`m sure if it was any other person from any other fandom, that other fandom would`ve done the same thing.

episode 9 turned me into a terrible sobbing mess. there were tears fogging up my eyes before i could even know. i don`t have any pets but i really really love animals, it doesn`t matter what kind they are. although my forever wish is to get my own cat in the future i wonder how will i cope when it`ll be their time to go? this episode just made it so much clear.
plus i also love how with each episode this drama talks & deals with all sorts of things that can be relatable to all individuals from different walks of life. definitely becoming one of my favourite dramas of all time, undoubtfully.

This person has been continuously harassing the fansubbers who has been subbing this drama for us. Apparently they`ve been doing it for a long time. They went into the subbers` Discord and not only caused a havoc but also stole the subs without permission. So when they didn`t follow the very minimum rules that the subber has set for us as viewers to follow so that we can get the subs - the subbers` restricted them from entering into the discord server anymore and blocked this person on twitter.
After that, this person keeps coming over here to and creating problems disregarding the subbers. You can scroll down and read everything. There are lot of entitled people who thinks everything should be taken for granted, which is NOT the right thing to do. These subbers work hard to provide us with this subs for free. The least we can do is be thankful to them.

no no, don`t worry, they`re nothing like this. the sex scenes are only drawn like steamy foreshadowing in the manga. but i think the drama is portraying them like this because they kinda want to cement this fact that asako`s scent is like a drug to natori in a very comical manner, which is pretty evident in the manga itself.
but overall, it`s very wholesome! you should definitely try reading the manga. i`m sure you`ll like it!
