Considering I went from watching Forever Love, then Maid's Revenge to this one, it's so hard to ignore how much their chemistry has grown. It's like I couldn't take my eyes off of them in every scene they were together regardless of the moods. They were so comfortable with each other in this one that now I am more excited than ever for their 4th drama together because I know if the chemistry between these two was off the roof in Rainkissed Fate then it would be out of this universe in the 4th upcoming one.

Yes, it's a site made for fansubbers and j-drama/movies enjoyers like me & you. It is made by some of the well-known fansubbers and a few. From this site, you can find the raws of the shows you are watching & their subs posted by the subbers themselves. Currently the registration is closed but you can keep checking out the site (or if I can, I'll let you know).

P.S I'll add the site name under this text.

Me too! I'm planning on at least 2-3 episodes to pile up & then I'll take my sweet time watching it. Considering I've seen only the 2015 version (the gender was reversed there), I'm looking forward to how the storyline will be adapted in this version.

Is it available somewhere with subtitles in english, spanish or portuguese... 🥲
Unfortunately, there's not yet any official subs but a fansubber has picked it up. They're called ECOTVsubs. You can find them over on Twitter. You can find the raw and the english subtitles (soft subs) for download over on DO.

Gentle reminder, different sites like the ones mentioned by other users are the ones who steal all the hardworking subbers' works and earn money by posting them on those sites. Please refrain from watching especially j-dramas/j-movies over there.

I knew this j-drama title seemed familiar!

A few years back, I watched (& enjoyed) the 2015 version starring Nakagawa Taishi & Yamamoto Maika. In it, the girl is the one who shrinks, unlike this 2024 version. Also finally a Yagi Yusei drama, so I'm definitely checking it out. I saw on Twitter that ECOTVsubs has already picked it up & has released the first episode on D-O.

Ohhhhh the revelation right at the start of the last 30 mins had my jaw dropped. I did not...I absolutely didn't expect it at all. I was confused by Izumi's expressions at the start but then still. All the dots connected with the exchange between Toru & Izumi.

Love is such a conflicting emotion and we humans are just bound by it in some way or other. For some of us, once we fall in love and break away from it...we never really break away from it. It's like some people whom we meet at some point in our lives come to our hearts unconsciously, unannounced with a suitcase in their hand, with a determination to stay in us, an ambition they are unaware of.

What an absolute masterpiece! I don't really know why I hesitated so much to watch this show...perhaps the reason maybe because it's a sageuk and I have had some first-hand traumatizing experiences with this genre even though most of the ones I have seen are exceptionally good (cue Scarlet Moon & The Crowned Clown). Or maybe I was waiting for the perfect mood to watch this. Who knows. But regardless of the reasons, I enjoyed every minute of it so SO MUCH.

I cried, laughed and snorted while watching it and sometimes it almost felt like I was not just watching some characters on-screen created for a show rather it felt so goddamn real. For anyone who's still hesitating like I was beforehand, DO NOT. Go & watch this show and I'm sure hoping you'll remember certain characters for the longest time ever.

P.S Kim Hye Soo is only 2 years younger than my Maa which is something that surprised me because she looks so youthful and after watching some behind-the-scenes, I think she's also very warm-hearted and truly...as an actoress, she is the ultimate powerhouse. Gonna check out some of her previous shows for sure!

I feel like after watching this while taking my time amidst the stress-filled days, every single one deserves a Kiyo in their lives.

Maybe I'll catch up with the manga too because I want to learn more about the other characters. I wish there would be a season two though... definitely would tune in. This show is the perfect heal for your bad days. I definitely see myself re-watching this few months later!

what happend with Ichinoi Yuki in the end? it feels like i miss something. I read some from the manga before but…
She mentioned to Urara in the movie that she 's going to move to where her daughter lives, Norway. Her daughter was worried of Yuki staying alone, remember?

This was like a ray of sunshine falling upon one's feet peeking out of a thick blanket's end after a night that's been cold & deary. You watch this kind of film when you're doubting yourself & losing a sense of the daily mundane goodness in everyday life, especially when you're thinking too far off into the future.

I was really....really having a difficult day. By the time it was past evening, I was tired and slumped. Thankfully, everything in this comfort of a movie made me happy & lighthearted. What a lovely watch.

P.S It's always such a fascinating thing to me when two far-fetched generations come together to bond over a singular thing that they both love. Kind of makes it much more humane regardless of that gap of age and the imaginary walls of every generation dividing us.

That whole interaction between Koki & his grandma, with the support of Ryohei in Ep7 was really touching. Might be my favourite scene from the whole drama tbh. And, also this was such a cozy watch. No wonder I always come back to such slice of life type of shows because it sort of makes me have hope that feels like life does have some soft touches to it too even when the whole world is collapsing around us.

About that ketchup scene,i thought at first maybe he was also sexually abused by someone thats why he doesn't…
I actually did see the cut scenes too! I'm sure they purposely put the ketchup scene instead of the cream scene in the final cuts to give us that conflicting feeling towards Fumi. But nevertheless, most of the scenes are quite layered. It would not just take a couple of re-watch (which sounds difficult due to the context of the film itself) but a whole lotta time to analyse what is actually doing on with these characters in reality.

So I'm 2 episodes in and, despite enjoying everything else, I cannot imagine what she can do to make up for it.…
Wow a reply after 5 months. I have forgotten some parts of this drama 😅 but I absolutely get your anger towards Miyuki. Don't let it stop you though from continuing because she does showhow redeems herself as the episodes go. Your perception of her will surely change, I promise! (But also it's completely upto you if you want to like her or not even when you're done with the series)
