Mostly slow-paced but that was definitely the perfect tempo for this jewel of a seriesš„¹šGreat cinematography,…
Yeah it wasn't fast-paced but the pacing was good, I never once lost interest. It didn't feel draggy and in the latter half (which usually flags in Thai BL) it just kept getting stronger and more intense. There was excellent build-up, and a great resolution.
And I'm also really glad they brought back those two š„° That was so heartwarming
They finna go all the way but without lube and prep. And they can't even use magic as an excuse because Paran…
I think they just tend to skip over those steps in the NC scenes because it doesn't need to be that detailed, and sometimes stark realism isn't what they're going for, but yeah
I just watched episode 11 and what was the use of the ābed friendā actor in that episode? Iām really confused…
I think it's partly to show us that Paran has a past that's pretty different from his current persona/status. He wasn't always that aloof, virtuous, tightly controlled shaman.
Maybe real Worradej went into Prince's body in the future LOL
Yeah that was only a headcanon of mine. But technically Prince's body could be kept alive in a coma with modern medical tech until Worradej's soul decided to pay it a visit.
This might now be my favourite Thai BL ever (and I've watched a lot of Thai BL). This was absolute perfection. The way they resolved the plotlines so elegantly. The way the buildup paid off. The way it held up all the way to the end, never flagging, only getting better and better. Even the aftermath sweetness felt *earned*.
And everyone who said Keng and Namping had no chemistry should be eating their own words by now. There were *plot reasons* for why Peem and Khem were so restrained and reserved before. They never compromised with the plot or the character settings for the sake of fan service. It was all true to the context of the drama. And it really paid off, IMO.
Kudos to Domundi for picking an excellent script and then doing it so much honour.
It's free on YT, let's support the original channel
Maybe it's a region-lock thing? Sometimes content gets restricted to certain geolocations. I watched the first episode three weeks ago on YT. Here's their playlist for the series, see if you can access it: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkQFxcEhORR2nDG4dZA_ICtUBXJe1Ns_4 They have some cut scenes that are only for members, but the episodes themselves are free
There were issues with editing and pacing, sometimes I was confused as how we got from one scene to the next, and what happened when. It felt a bit...disconnected? Hopefully things improve by the next episode
PLEASE don't call this one Boys Over Flower if it's gay ever again. I'm serious. The four of them are NOT bullying…
Check the comment linked in the reply above. Someone who has read the book says there's no bulllying. I just watched the first episode and it seems to be the case.
And I'm also really glad they brought back those two š„° That was so heartwarming
The powers of a shaman XD

I can't even make up my mind if it was absolutely terrible or total wacky genius
