Apparently that was a mistranslation, Perth Tanapon never said he was leaving BL, he just said he didn't want to be in a "shipped couple" anymore (which is understandable after all that happened with the Perth/Saint ship). He doesn't have a problem with playing gay roles.

I agree with you. I definitely see the awkwardness as Bun's, and not as Tul's, because he only acts awkward in some situations (ones where the very honest and straightforward and slightly bumbling Bun would feel uncomfortable) but in situations where Bun is confident, I don't see the same awkwardness. The way it looks to me, Tul may or may not be a truly versatile actor, he definitely has a type that he does well, but Bun is exactly that type and Tul is doing him very naturally, with lots of nuance. That's how I see his performance, at least.

In any other BL drama, that would have been the kiss scene, yes. And in any other BL drama, I would have been disappointed to not see it. But somehow it doesn't bother me much in CM.

I ran it through Google Translate, and it says, "I am Chi Chu Wei Er". Now I'm curious about this! Is it just a Google Translate mishap, or does it have something to do with how is name is written with Chinese characters?
