many of your ptw are good choices, im kind of envious that you get to watch them for the first time hahaha, but i also agree with the choices, they are definitely must watch cdramas, i would just add Love Story in the 1970s, its such a good romance drama + no blood boiling moments. so if you feel like watching a warm slice of life of good romance then watch this

watched the second seasone before this, now im watching it but i think the second season is better in regards to the story and the chemistry. aslo my fav character so far is ankom she is such a mood, both cute and funny, i just adore her, the actress also surprised me because i hated her in phetra naruemit but her i completly love her.

i think this might be my comfort show, ignoring the annoying characters, the romance between the leads is beautiful

this was fun, problem is that all eps on bilibili are bad quality

the story starts with the FL (daughter of a chinese merchant) meeting the ML1 (works in the ministry of commerce) they fall in love and get married, everything between the married couple is well (they consummate their marriage). ML1 travels to a different city for work, during his trip the family treats the FL poorly (mother in law is mean, the brother in law is a pervert, and his wife is also mean) so FL kept waiting patiently for her husband hoping things would get better.
ML1 is back from the trip with many gifts, but he starts treating her coldly, FL finds it weird and keep trying to sleep with her husband to express her love (that is what he told her, that making love is a how love is expressed between a couple) but the ML1 keeps refusing, one of the gifts that the ML1 brought is a car and a driver (the driver is ML1 old friend/servant) only for FL, that is where we meet ML2. ML1 is busy doing his work and keeps pushing FL, FL feels sad but doesn't know how to deal with her husband, ML2 keeps driving her to places (a rice field with a cottage becomes their spot) and getting close to her until he starts expressing his feelings, FL refuses. Until one day the married couple got into a fight (big one) FL leaves with ML2 to the cottage and they start making love!!!
after that they started "dating" and spend more time together. Until one day the FL is... PREGNANT!!! (all of us know who isn't the father, THE HUSBAND) yet when the husband heard the news he was happy... the FL did not understand what was going on ( how could he accept this?), so she went to her father house to tell him she's pregnant, the dad got mad and started asking her who is the father, FL confused, dad keeps asking, and then FL said: how did you know he is not the father? the dad then reveals that he sent men after ML1 during his trip and they hit him hard (a little too hard on his private place) because ML1 had promised the dad that he will help him with work if he married his daughter, now the dad wants to abort the child, but the FL and her nanny fake the abortion.
FL goes back home and looks for the ML2, just to find him with ML1, and that is when FL discovers that ML1 actually hired ML2 to make her pregnant and ML1 paid him and asked him to leave immediately ( ML2 was not suppose to fall in love with the FL so ML1 asked if he has feelings for her, ML2 denied!!) also the reason for this whole thing is because ML1 father changed his will (his properties would go to them (his sons) only if they have kids).
Now FL is devastated and betrayed by everyone (dad married her off for his business, ML1 asked his friend ML2 to impregnate her, and ML2 who she loved did not love her back and betrayed her) so she escapes, everyone starts looking for her, so she stays with her nanny, next morning ML2 finds her and starts following her through her escape, she tries to escape him but he catches up, she shoots him and escape AGAIN, but then comes back (?), they talk it out and they say i love you, and decide to escape together, ML1 catches them, imprisons ML2, and locks FL in the house.
everyone now is wondering what is going on.
ML2 escapes prison, find FL and plan to escape, servants start helping them with the plan. FL exposes ML1 (what happened to him, and the new will) to his brother, Brother went to the father (father is paralyzed and near death) grabbed his collar and starts yelling, father DEAD, so everyone now is in the father room, the new will gets exposed by the brother and he starts fighting with ML1.
FL and ML2 are escaping during the fight, BUT ML1 catches up and start fighting ML2.
ML2 badly injured (stabbed with a knife), ML1 unconscious, so FL and ML2 escape AGAIN to the cottage (to bandage his injury).... ML1 catches up AGAIN and hold up a GUN, they start begging ML1 (here ML1 was saying that she wouldn't want him because he couldn't sleep with her but then FL said: thats what you taught me, making love is how to express love, but with ML2 he showed me that there are other ways to express love (well said). so basically its not because of your private part, but because you ignored me and treated me coldly.
ML1 asks them to leave, they leave, ML1 shoots himself, they come back, cry, and leave again.

this drama is not for anyone, i would only recommend it for people who enjoy historical stories or if the are intrested in the chinese history.

for me i knew from the beginning i will cry at the end, and YES sangyi is such a husband material

this was a good drama, not the best, but it tells a story and its easy to follow and intract with

yes everyone watches a drama for a reason, but this one is not doing what it should be doing (not every thing has to make sense, but you can't give us good visuals, good cinematography, but a repetitive stories )

as for the pure love part, i don't think its suitable to call it pure when most of it is built on lies and deception, at least give them a good reason to be a bad person.

tbh its not just about making sense, but its just that these characters keep lying and changing their sides so often that i believe none of them, and so i can't even trust LWY on the time loop because of the trust issues

well said, everything is so repetitive it just loses it meaning

if she did ask, then they will show it, but they didn't when they showed us the flashbacks and i suspect and so she is defiantly hiding something , the other issue is that these important points were not really done well, which like you said could lead to some confusion, so if this keeps happening then when a big reveal happens it doesn't really have a great impact.

i really see potential in the story, it just that the execution not great.
