Tbh idk how to feel about this movie, its good but i have a lot of mixed feelings:
first, i think the acting and directing in some parts could have been better a great example is when raffy opened up to his siblings about his struggles.
Second, the pacing of the movie is pretty fast and im not complaining (they are showing us the highlights, focusing on the story) but i do think if they gave us more time in some parts it would’ve help us resonate more with the characters.
Third, i would’ve loved if the flowers had more meaning in the story ( i loved the idea of the flower and it just showed how raffy’s love could be so pure) so if there was maybe a meaning to why he gave the flower (meaning of each flower) and just if they showed us the value of each flower and how meaningful it was for their relationship, i would’ve melted.
Forth and finally, i can see how each of them changed, how they provided support to the other when needed, how they both fell in a dark place but the other was at the highest and brightest place, it’s truly sad when you know that this is real, and i just appreciate that ( as one of the commenters has mentioned “Maybe they were immature for this”).
The story is intriguing, a fair amount of plot twists, the romance is new and has a modern feel to it, absolutely loved the fl personality and her revenge style is so satisfying, and loved how the ml is as bold and calculating as the fl, but the drama in general wasn’t exciting to the point where I can’t stop watching, its not bad but if i had another thing to watch I might have dropped it, and i feel like they kind of stretched it when the added the capital phase.
Mae jun has completely disappointed me, like how can someone’s character start good and then completely become stupid and easily manipulated, at the end i really thought she is more annoying than bua.

You know, I always thought that Kiefer had some issues but damn Yuri is sick to the core, cause when Kiefer kept saying that you’re mine to JJ and knew she didn’t like it, he changed it to I’m yours, and to be honest this is sweet but on the other hand yuri is not only forcing her into this marriage, but he’s just thinking of like (in the end you’re gonna become mine and no matter how much you try to be with Kiefer and stay with him once we get married that’s it) like you’re gonna be caged basically and this really annoyed me cause how can you think of the person that you love like that ?I mean if you’re annoyed of what’s going on you should go after Kiefer not JJ. isn’t she struggling enough and I bet that he has something to do with what’s going on with JJ‘s family.

I think you will enjoy it if you weren’t waiting for another cdrama especially if its good and you are anticipating it, personally i didn’t have anything to watch, and was so bored, so i watched it and surprisingly I enjoyed it, so maybe if you were in a similar mood you’d enjoy it, and what helped is that it is a light drama.
This was some what bad, honestly many parts could have been plotted better, and the character development could have been better (like i wished she showed how much she trusted him when they returned to the palace, she said it but i didn’t really sense it from some scenes), also one part that kept bugging me throughout the series was how the misrepresented the royal family and the military (when they want them to be strict the become strict and when not then they are not) you really don’t feel a sense of someone who is born and raised as a princess or a prince and same thing with the military guys they just seem disorganized and all over the place (the dont have a standerd protocol to follow, nor are they capable of diverting tricky questions) and i dont blame the actors ot the story but the director and the producer, because usually the would bring people or organize classes for the actors to learn how to present themselves like their respectable parts. Either way i watched it and it was a good watch to waste some time.
