i hear you but i like it this way, it feels different this way and i like how JBZ just decided to go with it because it benefited him, so i dont mind this new set up for the story. as for the golden millet and the identity, i agree that they could have solved it and she should have been brave enough to tell him the truth, but later in the ep when MY was speaking with the fairy friend it made me realize that MX/MY is raised in an environment that didnt encourage her to be open about her feelings or true self (she pretended to be a man for 18 years, her mom told her to leave when she got sick and as we saw how MX/MY has always craved warmth from her mom) so based on the characteristics that we saw, it is somewhat valid (its not easy to completely change just because you fell in love).

Well in that case i have to say that it mainly depends on your mood, if i wasn’t in the mood to watch this drama i wouldn’t have liked it, nor completed it (cause its to long), this was exactly what i needed, a tragic historical romance story, and just the yearning of the ML made me love the drama.

But I understand what you mean, I usually rate the drama right after finishing and it depends on how it made me feel, but if i give it more time then the rating would’ve been lower.

Personally, i thought her acting was not bad, i mainly enjoyed the ML acting, i have to say his tone, his eyes, the small gestures and expressions he shows, makes me drown in emotions, sometimes i would find myself admiring his way of giving the character its own personality, and that is hard to make.

Absolutely agree, some parts of the story could have been removed, as most of it was full of angst, i worry in every episode that something bad will happen, i’m not mad about it, but i feel like it affected the ending because it didn’t give me the relief and satisfaction that i have been anticipating, and they didn’t show us what happened to the other characters.

Good drama, lighting and costumes are not the best, story wise its good and interesting but got a bit draggy at the end (could’ve been shorter), some characters deserved a better ending, acting is good and convincing to some extent.

All in all 7.5/10

oh i know how hard it feels to find a good drama as the one you watched, this one is definitely not on my top ten list, but it was perfect for my mood when i watched it, and i just fell for bongsu's craziness hahaha.

i will be checking the nine tale drama becuase of your recommendation, cuase honestly i'm not a big fan of the FL, i've watched some of her dramas and her acting didn't click with me, but will give her a chance in this one.

Also, i have guessed that bongsu is actually the young soldier, and even after telling us that he was the other one, i wasn’t convinced tbh, it felt to obvious.

Its a cute drama, but as some mentioned the story as a whole has many loopholes, and you can get a bit confused

Just finished it, so fun, the fight scenes are one of the best, i have to say though, the end scene of ji fa and chan yu wasn’t very smooth, i had to pause (meh) and the continue, yes i cried cause i am sensitive, but it wasn’t heart wrenching as it should’ve been.
